I want it. I bought a 2022 Denali truck 1500 and I don’t like how low it sets at all. The dealership told me I cannot put a lift on it or it’ll ruin my warranty.

Jeff, I think you nailed it. It's just an awesome all around truck. It crushes steep snow-covered hills, then delivers a very comfortable highway or city street experience. The tech is reliable and intuitive. And - you can park it.

Wow I’m surprised that you love them seats I sat in a 2023 GMC AT4 this week & they were a little bit too firm almost like sitting on concrete I just sold my 03 GMC 2500HD and those seats were way more comfortable are the seats the same in the AT4 vs AT4X

I like the 2023 version with the AEV front bumper, however there are a few things that make me lean toward the ZR2 instead. #1....$84000 price tag does not include the side steps you mentioned. #2.....I do not want a $995 sunroof, however its included and not optional. #3....I do not want the $870 multi-pro speaker system, again its included and not optional. I may overlook these forced options, i'm still on the fence. I do have a question, does the AT4X include a matching spare tire/wheel? (It is on the ZR2)

Yes.. if you check the video at around the 5:30 mark you can see the tire/wheel underneath. It’s the Duratrac and the gloss black wheel. To be fair, however, I didn’t check the 2023 to see if it has the 33” Territory MT as a spare

Agree with every one of your points. I too do not like extra costs forced on the buyer. A significant cost to avoid the yellow/gold/orange, whatever, stitching in the ZR2 and a lot to pay in 2023 for the AEV front bumper. ANOYED!

Unfortunately you’re stuck with a short bed and can’t get the baby duramax with the AT4X. Kinda turned me off and steered me towards regular AT4 but I drive to work each day on paved roads and don’t need those fancy approach angles.

Not a fan of this version of the AT4X. It's soft looking and looks nothing like an off-road truck. Suspension is ok, but still has low hanging mounts. Idk what GM was thinking, but glad they made some much needed changes for 2023.

Jeff, that truck is the least valuable one in the entire GMC lineup in terms of what it brings to the table and what it costs. A short bed with front locker and DSSV shocks doesn’t command a $80,000 out the door price 🤣. Let’s not forget about the quality control issues with the GM 6.2L. I’m beginning to hate what the industry has become in the last 3 years alone. Fire Mary Barra.

No doubt that GMC has the best looking 1/2 ton trucks on the market. With the disastrous failures of GM’s cylinder deactivation systems (through the years) no way I would buy one without at LEAST 150,000 miles drivetrain warranty and I’ve never heard of GM selling those. Has anyone ever heard of a warranty like that (from GM)?Cost?

I’m guessing the Raptor ride is better. Could front and rear, tuned perfectly and adjusts compression 100x per second. Better looking outside. The ATX might have a better interior but the seats are too firm.

I test drove them all too. I’m just going between the eco diesel and the 5.7 v8. What do you recommend ? I don’t haul anything it’s just taking the place of my Lexus.

Except the transfer case is clutch driven and not chain or directly driven, and as such, when it overheats in extreme terrain it will kick out of 4x4 into 4x2. What a load of overpriced e-locker garbage.
