Funny Tip with the z-depth use a plane rotate it 90 and set a specular material on it with index 1 no reflection and fake shadows ON and you have an infinite object in your z-depth without an object in your scene :)

Awesome Tutorial man! I have a question, on my HDR Enviroment texture tab I dont have the controls for gamma and texture mapping. Do you have to enable it somewhere in Octane Settings? Thanks man!

Oof, I wish I had a Mac so I could use Octane.
