I don't know why u guys think italian doesn't cut pizza! XD we cut it in 4 ou 8 slices and eat it with hands. Only calzoni (a tipe of pizza) can be eated with the fork and knife. Actually if u see in a restaurant someone eating with the fork usually is a posh or a turist xD

just a tip guys.. if you find photos of the food you'll order on the menu, 90% of the time it's a touristy place and the pizza isn't that good, if you are in Naples I suggest to go to "50 kalò" or "dal presidente", they are some of the best spots there

Your next food trip should be Spain, Spanish cuisine seems to be quite unknown among English speakers, it's quite underrated, I was in Spain for a month and I swear almost every dish makes you die and go to heaven, I also find It has much more variety than Italy... regardless, Italy is a great trip for food lovers, hope It's going great 🤙

That's the issue, everybody on the internet (mostly americans) think Italian cuisine is the best in the world based on spaghetti, lasagna and pizza, since food chains in the entire Americas continent have made pizza a commercial thing.... They don't even appreciate the more mediterranean cuisine, like all the salads and vegetable recipes made in France, Italy and Spain, I find Spanish cuisine more varied since everything really does have completely different ingredients, rarely does something have a similar main ingredient like pasta in Italy... then again, you can't say Taiwanese food is the only one that can even compete in variety, Indian, Mexican, and French food are all great contenders too, it all really depends on what kind of ingredients you prefer...

Giac Quality of the individual ingredients is a common thing in all of western Europe and also, simplicity is not always king, I'd much rather have a Spanish paella with all the ingredients going into it than a pizza margherita from naples or spaghetti with meatballs... I come from Mexico and the amount of delicious dishes you can find is obscene, food goes from quite simple to extremely complex, and I would also choose eating tacos from a Mexico City street place with all their proper ingredients than having a calzone or a meatball sandwich... If you like Italian cuisine the best, I don't blame you, I know Italy has delicious stuff, I'm just arguing that it's overrated by people who haven't tried anything else

Every local person I have asked has said that Da Michele is the best pizza in Naples, usually with either Sorbillo or Di Matteo following it, but a lot of chefs, food reviewers, and cheese makers now consider the best pizza in Italy to be Pepe in Grani in Caiazzo (about 1 hour from Naples, or 30 mins from Caserta)
