I would love to see a multiplayer playthrough of this one. To see if the Alpha/Beta Quadrant powers can survive the Borg invasion.

I have not played it in multiplayer, not with the Borg that is. I will definitely need to try it out but I feel this could be pretty punishing for individual players ;-)

Nice play through Markus. I have been playing this with the Romulans, and decided to limit the Borg to those very short, 2-section space lanes. It slows them down a bit, and gives me more time to get ready for them.

In a recent game against the Borg, I had a thought about the Hazard number in Transwarp, Hub, & Conduit systems. After appearing on in system shouldn't the Cube take a Hazard test ? As it was not built it made a transit from where ever. Just fishing for help against Borg.😢

Thanks, Gareth and indeed, may balance some things. Thinking about TNG and Voyager, they didn't care much about environment effects until they did ;-)

I would not have discarded that tech card to keep the Borg tech card. Rules are unclear so I look at it thematically. My 2 research nodes are taking care of the 2 tech advanacement cards. So they are at Max capacity. My ship discovered the Borg tech and the crew onboard is taking care of that one. Probably doesn't matter much but that's just how I would play it.

That's actually a good point and especially when playing solo you have to make it work out for you. As this game is dealing with the Star Trek universe in a grand scale, not sure if one particular ship actually matters though :-D

If ships win a combat can't they move 2 impuls places ? If so, does this not apply to the borg cubes as well ? If it did, the first borg cube should have moved into Dakala.

That's a good question but I don't think this applies to the Borg. Otherwise it would be pretty tough to keep them at bay. Again I may be wrong on this ;-)

The Borg rules state that Borg don't get the tactical move. So they stay where they are after winning a combat.
