I’m a huge fan of the Chinese team. Awesome and they are playing like the power they used to be now. Japanese team fighting spirit cannot not be overstated. I always cheer on Japanese team unless they play China. They are physically disadvantaged compare to many team, yet their skills and persistence just awes me. My hat’s off to the Japanese fighting ladies.

For those people commenting 'Japan (sometimes Thailand) has the height disadvantage ' when losing but also praise Japan/Thailand for winning against taller teams, all of you are hypocrite! While height in volleyball is always an advantage in net defense, but being a little smaller is what also makes Japan and Thailand being the world's strongest and best floor defenders as they are quicker to move compared to taller teams. Taller teams capitalize their defense at the net but are slower in floor defense. Therefore, the height of Japan and Thailand should not be used as a reason when losing when the same team played but won other games.

not exactly. Height is really a great weapon(like Benjamin can literally go over the block and hit straight down) and when it comes to same height like 200 cm, Japanese player are much slower. So they do have disadvantage but it shouldn't be excuse for losing I would say. They lose bc the opponents play well and that's the truth.
