This is it: Ray Bourque lifts his first and only Stanley Cup and retires as a champion. Full Game 7 and plenty of coverage after the game ends.
Apologies for fuzzy audio and visual issues.

There is nothing better in sports than the Stanley Cup playoffs. Case in point, I’m a Detroiter and die hard red wings fan. I love my pistons as well but when the pistons beat the lakers in 04, I was very happy, but even watching this, our arch enemy Avalanche win the cup and I get chills watching in excitement for Ray, that just shows you how much more passionate and thrilling hockey is than other sports.

Only sport where, every year, even if your team doesn't win The Cup, or even make The Cup Finals, you can GENUINELY cheer for another team, it's players and fans, it's organizational history and prior achievements, with honor and joy abounding. Case in point, The Blues of 2019. And, seeing Ray's eyes and electric smile as the Stanley Cup was skated past him...well, says it all...🏆

Summer of 2001...Great series between two elite teams in the NHL and it was hoarded with plenty of Hall-of-Famers. Colorado was destined to win the series for Ray Bourque's swan song. New Jersey wasn't too far behind with a great goalie named Martin Brodeur and a great defense! Gotta love the pre-lockout days of the National Hockey League.

“And after 22 years... RAYMOND BORQUE!!” Unbelievable. As a Capitals fan, but overall just a hockey fan, I will forever concede that as the single untouched greatest moment in NHL history, and the only one better than Alexander The Great raising the Cup. How anyone could ever watch Ray and not be emotional is beyond me... it symbolizes all that hockey (and the Cup itself) is, was, and will always be

What true hockey fan would not tear up from this? This is one of the few things that make me tear up. Feeling the jubilation and relief with Bourque winning the Stanley Cup after 22 years and the music playing during the celebration, including 'What a Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong, just tugs on my heartstrings, because it just perfectly captures the emotions and joy of the Avalanche winning the Stanley Cup. As a Montreal fan, it gets to me more now, with how close they came to winning the Stanley Cup this year...

Thanks for sharing this. I was at game 7 - 4th row from the glass on the curve. It was the most exciting atmosphere I have ever experienced. Seeing Bourque, Roy, Sakic, Forsberg(who was injured and did not play),Tanguay, Hedyduk, Blake, Foote, and the rest of the team lift the cup was an out of body experience. Two years before I sat directly behind Alex Tanguay for a playoff game with Detroit. He was extremely nervous and I told him that night that your time will come , then you can be nervous. It did. He was. I have never seen the complete game on tape until tonight. What a first class organization.....Thanks again for putting this up....

The end of the dark ages when Boston fans had to support former Boston players. Make no mistake, this was great. I went to a Ray Bourque party in the North End on this hot June night. But over a dozen 21st century titles were coming to Boston. And aside from the great 1999 Sox run, most Bostonians had no idea it was possible. It would begin in just a few months at the Super Bowl. They never even heard of a backup QB named Tom Brady. Six months later, they would come to worship him.

Sure a lot better having Patrick Roy in a game 7..instead of MICHAEL FREAKING HUTCHINSON! Granted cuz of injury..& injury. And to be fair, he played decent-for him. I never thought wed see game 6, let alone 7-let alone OT, as soon as I heard he was starting. It wasnt his fault at all. But hes just not very good..even for a 3rd stringer. Sakic go get us a better/more durable goalie than Grubby,& Francouz who proved he isnt the guy vs Dallas.

That is an excellent question. I just posted it on Twitter and asked the Twitterverse. Someone has to know it, right?
