I was working on a super cold day in Eastern Canada when I heard of Daryle's passing. Remember it like yesterday. Still can't believe god took away the greatest country singer of modern time. Had the chance to meet him and I will be forever great full. Rip Daryle.

That nasty lick that James Mitchell played @ 2:40 got everyone's attention 🎸🔥 RIP Daryle. You were the greatest!
@bradandkendrawetzel63683 жыл бұрын
Yeah that was aewsome. Daryle was one of the best voices country did or ever will have, not like there is anyone to compete with him now cuz country is now teeny bopper music. Daryle could literally sing the phone book and it would sound amazing.
@txstrampion92353 жыл бұрын
@@bradandkendrawetzel6368 yes sir. Country music has evolved into something that has no characteristics of the genre. So much that I believe it should have a completely new name without the word country. Your stuff sounds good, man. I dig your writing, singing and guitar playing. 👍
@bradandkendrawetzel63683 жыл бұрын
@@txstrampion9235 Wow ..thank you brother I really do appreciate you saying that..im no Daryle Singletary though LOL
@txstrampion92353 жыл бұрын
@@bradandkendrawetzel6368 no one is, but I do like your songs. You should check out Mo Pitney, if you haven't already. He doesn't sound like Daryle, but he's cut from the same cloth. Good writer and player, too.
@bradandkendrawetzel63683 жыл бұрын
@@txstrampion9235 yes ive listened to Mo..i liked when he told his story of coming home singing fallen angel and his mom was mad at his dad for it lol...but yes he definitely is from the same cloth..have you noticed that some of the best singers are kept on the back burner..Mo pitny is one and I honestly dont think daryle was given the shot he deserved ..i mean he had songs out but didnt look the part so they didnt push his music but I kinda think that it is people like him that didnt choose to sell out and for that i respect them even more. I'll put a song on here this week that I wrote about that very thing...its called TRUE SOUTH...its about ...well, my hatered for Florida Georgia line lol.. and how todays singers are no where near country..but thanks again brother If ya dont mind me asking ..were you able to see just the 3 songs on my channel?...cuz I had another channel a couple years ago called Brad wetzels country channel....that has more originals on it and I also sang a song my dad wrote on that channel called "The bottle" which is probably my favorite song

With such vocal instrument he could have just sung the song and been a star. But this song needs to be preformed to show how much more than just a simple little clever song it can be, one that in the right hands ,such as with this performer, joyously touches a lot of carnal emotions just beyond the lyrics, and then is smart enough to move on.
