The structure was the turn around station for “Skyride” which was a chair lift type ride, that (I could be wrong) but I believe was a separate entity from the Miracle Strip Amusement park. The loading station for it was on Front Beach Rd. Along in the area where the Shrimp Basket restaurant is now. That house you saw , I believe is the owner of Goofy Golf, which also owns the campground that is back there too, which probably explains those old washers and dryers. They looked to be coin-operated, and they have those for the campers to use there. They probably store the non-working ones in that shed.

I explored that same property a number of years ago, and the abandoned house was there then, not damaged by Hurricane Michael. I think the house and the large Brick House adjacent to it belong to the former owners of the property, or to the Koplin family, the owners and creators of Goofy Golf on Front Beach Road. They allowed the small Street to go through the back side of Raccoon River Campground so that their customers would have a direct route to the beach.

I thought you were claiming to be in the woods behind the old msap, toward middle beach road. Then I realized that you were behind Magic Mountain. So, you taught me something. I grew up going to PCB every summer, and I'm re-exploring everything now, using the historicaerials website, as well as old pics on Google image search, etc. Hell, I'm learning things just from reading these comments. It breaks my heart the way PCB is losing the very things that made it so fun. Thank goodness Goofy Golf, Funland, and Angelo's are hanging on. Thanks for the great video.

Back in the day we had 2 amusement parks. Miracle strip and petticoat junction amusement . This area was known as the miracle mile. There was also a Tower to the MS park. Petticoat Junction was like a western theme with a train ride around the park, they also had "shootouts" in the streets. These parks were family owned and interest in these little parks dwindled. PCB and the whole area around PCB was being discovered and it just made sense to close them down and make money on the property. I hope I've helped you some. I missed the old Florida panhandle It's just not like it used to be. You could walk for miles on the beach and never see anyone. SIGH (there are pictures on Pinterest BTW) P.S.
