I really want to see her lose her position. She does not serve the bench or our people well. She has no respect for the process. Having a law degree does not make her intelligent. She has a smart mouth and bad attitude. She is greedy.

The number of allegations of misconduct is astonishing. Question: “Judge Peterson, have you ever heard the saying that if everybody else is always the problem, maybe the problem isn’t everyone else?” Answer: “No”. Has she been living under a rock? She’s in “direct contempt” for lying!!! 😂 They should throw her in jail, as she has done to others. 🤦🏻♀️ Narcissist always think that they can lie and get away with it.

If a fair and honest judge .....a JUDGE had no idea how to deal with contempt or what even qualifies as contempt then presides over cases where contempt is often a subject why is she a judge? Sounds to me like she wasn't even qualified to pick trash up off the ground so again why is she a judge? Not to mention the fact that she shook down the people that appeared Infront of her and demanded pay off's from them with no ceiling on the pay off's? Legal pay off's or not they were still pay offs especially when being threatened with your freedom - that's a shake down period

I have to say that honestly I'm disappointed that Judge Emerson never had a meeting with Judge Peterson. It makes me wonder how many times Major West got it wrong while speaking to Judge Emerson. I know the controversy surrounding Judge Peterson and I see the ego or arrogance. But at the same time I wonder how often she had to fight her way thru controversy based on wrong hearsay. I believe everyone was angry she wanted more pay. But at the same time the county reached 96k plus citizens. Therefore there is a different requirement of the probate Judge. Law school was not cheap. Yes, could she use some of the fees to pay for something. She could have but everyone is mad at her for a decision made by the BOC that she can keep all fees vs the cap of 7500 bc she receives a salary. She didn't make that rule. The BOC did. I believe she made a drastic mistake with the Thailand woman and I believe her when she said she would do it differently now. But by Judge Emerson own testimony and the testimony of the deputy pastor. She was blamed for something she didn't do and she did what everyone else was doing. Courthouses need protection from someone planting something that can be obtained on the next time the Courthouse is opened. Even the deputies are guilty of not securing their weekend side job. Dont just blame her. She should calm her ego and arrogance but at this point. I don't see impeachment.

I’m telling ya my mouth dropped 😮 when I heard Judge Emerson on the stand say he never spoke to Judge Peterson 😮 yet…… the pastor deputy was doing the exact same as thing. I liked the question Judge Mcburney asked. So your wedding party was never screened & there was over 10 people in that wedding party. But Judge Peterson only had a handful. So why was it ok for you to do it and it was not ok for Judge Peterson?

She is soooooo dmn ridiculous...on so many levels. The clip where she was being sworn in as judge, tells me she was already over the top. Hearing her repeat the words to be sworn in, she sounded soooooo fake and over zealous to get in that position and not to just be a judge, but to take advantage of its benefits and create herself unlimited perks.

I'm wondering how Judge Peterson's responses are considered egotistical/arrogant. Her tone is even throughout her testimony as she explains the rationale for her decisions. She is questioned by several attorney's and the judge who accuse her of handing down a sentence they deem excessive. Despite being questioned get by one attorney then inturrupted by another during her responses, she continuously responded in a respectable tone and never contradicted herself. She is confident and knowledgeable throughout her testimony. Are these traits interpreted as being egotistical/arrogance? I honestly got the impression the court had pre-determined the outcome of this hearing and was attempting to get her to admit to deliberately handing down a harsher sentence than the crime warranted. Also, she gave sound, rational answers to questions. I challenge all of you who believe she exhibited egotistical/arrogant behavior to put yourselves in her shoes and answer the same questions the defense attorneys & judge asked Judge Peterson. How is your demeanor different from Judge Peterson's?
@VioletWings1353 Жыл бұрын
She contradicted herself numerous times during her testimony. The correct term would be respectful not respectable in the context you're using it in.
@donnakrueger Жыл бұрын
She should be removed. She seems uneducated. She can’t seem to grasp what she did wrong. Either she doesn’t know better or she is corrupt and knows exactly what she is doing. Either has no place in our justice system
@jacksyoutubechannel4045 Жыл бұрын
_"I challenge all of you who believe she exhibited egotistical/arrogant behavior to put yourselves in her shoes and answer the same questions the defense attorneys & judge asked Judge Peterson."_ I wouldn't have made the choices that resulted in Judge Peterson facing those lines of inquiry in the first place. _"...admit to deliberately handing down a harsher sentence than the crime warranted."_ There was no crime. It would seem, from her testimony, there wasn't even grounds for contempt. Not to mention that, knowing the litigant was facing jail time, the judge should've halted proceedings, appointed counsel, and allowed the litigant to confer with counsel before holding a show cause hearing. That is what due process requires -- and what this litigant was deprived of. Had she not been able to pay the purge amount, the litigant would've been confined in jail for _twenty days._ She'd surely lose her job, she may default on bills, she may have animals or children with no one to care for them (causing animal control to seize that animals and CPS to take the children into care), she may have had medical appointments -- and the judge didn't even consider these factors before summarily holding the litigant in contempt for ... what? (By the way, arrogant and condescending behavior is almost _exclusively_ calm and composed, by definition.)
