I have an original Rubik's Cube from the 1980s. Stickers are still intact, but it is somewhat worn/loose. No springs in the center tiles back then.

Rubiks is definitely going in the right direction with this. The app analytics is very quick. They didnt shy away from a speedcube design. And the match part is definitely a fun thing. The ranking and battle system have alot of potential

The only thing I have against this app is that it does not pair you with someone on your level. In fact, I joined the beginner competition to try and race someone who solve around 1:30 (I'm still slow, lol) and they finished in 12 seconds, before I finished the white side. I understand it's not going to be perfect, but I was always matched with someone who was definitely not a beginner. I wish they had a way to make more advanced players not choose the beginner lobby.

Liked the app but the cube felt really strange (rubix connected I mean ) and the colors also were hard to read for me. Went with the gan play I v2 which does exactly what I want and feels like a mid tier gan cube. Plus can still use many of the external apps like cubeast with either cube so there isn't much difference software wise. Gan's software also has an algorithm trainer which the rubik's connected didn't.

You are a bit harsh with the sticker quality, it is way better than the rubik’s sticker that has a plastic that peels off. The app doesn’t count M slices and doesn’t understand roux for now unfortunately, so roux users have to use an other app for statistics.
