This fact says alot. He either doesn't care or is unaware of his ego growing out of control. Any comedian with any self respect and morality would NEVER superimpose their image onto pictures of the greats like Carlin and R Williams. It's unfortunate that no one has called him out before. I was unaware until your comment but it definitely fits him. His ego has grown while his morals have shrunken.

The austin move really amplified the yes-manning. Everyone who comes to the show only comes for Joe, and _that's_ why every guest just kisses his ass. I never saw this connection so clearly before you pointed it out. Joe used to be like an ideological chameleon, he always somehow assumed the ideology of the guest and let them speak, which made his podcast actually good, but after the austin move he stopped that. Great question. JRE seemed better when I was ten years younger. Rogan was able to make me laugh and think a bit. He had A-list celebrities telling interesting personal stories and experts on mind expanding subjects. However, Rogan is too lazy or too busy to put in the basic subject research, hence the "Jaime, pull it up" five second Google search. Five seconds? The more you consider just how uninformed Rogan is, the more you may begin to question anything Rogan has to say. Now it's his big "tell" so to speak. Rogan knows when to not ask Jaime to fact check his guest's obvious propaganda. If Jaime isn't Googling, Rogan is shilling.

It’s not the money that makes his show boring. He was pretty rich before the podcast started l, and arguably he’s become a lot less arrogant with age. The problem is that being the biggest talk show on the planet has made him a king maker. He can make someones entire career by having them on an episode. This has caused everyone in every industry to treat him differently. He hasn’t had a genuine conversation on or off air with someone in ages, and this makes the show stale. He’s a victim of his own success.

At 5:33 of point two, as someone who grew up in Texas, Texas could've somewhat competed with California and become somewhat of a Hollywood South in the early 2000s (Spy Kids and Sharkboy and Lavagirl were filmed in Texas). Our government shot itself on foot by antagonizing the entertainment sector. Since then, especially with the rise of Vancouver, any potential Texas had as a cheaper alternative to California was quickly squashed. Furthermore, Georgia stepped up to the plate and became the Hollywood South. So yeah, Austin (and even Dallas) could've had a competitive entertainment hub but those hopes were dashed.

@hyperman9506 Ukraine, NATO, and the US ARE just as equally to blame for the war as Russia and Putin are. You could even argue slightly more to blame. No matter how much the mainstream media tries to debunk it or make people forget, there was an agreement made 30 years or so ago that Ukraine would not join NATO. You can acknowledge that Putin is an evil dictator while still acknowledging that he had valid reasons for invading. Just imagine for a second that the USSR still existed and that Mexico was about to join them. Do you think America wouldn't have done the exact same thing as Russia has done? Ukraine joining NATO is undeniably a threat to Russia. Anybody with an ounce of common sense knew exactly that it would lead to an invasion. That's ignoring the fact that Putin warned them in the weeks and months prior to the invasion. He gave them every opportunity to avoid the conflict. The media portrays this war as good vs. evil and act as if Russia were 100% in the wrong and Ukraine are blameless victims. The Ukrainian people and the Russian people, for that matter, are the only blameless victims here. They're the ones losing their lives to this. As for NATO, the US and Zelensky. They are just as much to blame as Putin. It gets even worse with the added facts that Russia has been the only side interested in peace talks or that Zelensky backed out of a peace deal because of a British Prime Minister (and I believe a few US politicians but I'm not 100% sure on that). In regards to a possible WW3 stemming from this, that likelihood increases every single day. This is an obvious proxy war, and the people who have the power to end it clearly have no interest in doing so. The people of Ukraine have no say. Because of martial law, they won't get a chance to vote for a new leader for as long as this goes on. Doesn't that also sound dictatorial. Also, just in the last couple of weeks, President Biden let US missiles, capable of carrying nukes, be used to carry out attacks on Russian soil, which is the biggest step taken so far to escalate the tensions between Russia and the US. So the very same people and party claiming to be the good guys are quite clearly doing everything they can to escalate this to the point of no return before Trump gets into office and has a chance to end the war. So yes. If this results in WW3, Zelensky will be 1000% one of the people who's most to blame. If anybody still believes he is acting in the best interest of his people, they are wrong. In regards to this whole video, it seems pretty obvious to me that this is just some anti-Trumper who is unhappy that Joe Rogan helped Trump win the election. The only reason that matters to the person who made the video is that Joe is "far right," which is just a ridiculous claim in and of itself. The other 2 reasons are just to make the video seem unbiased. The whole video is flawed. For one, he is still the number one podcast. In an entire video about Joe, not once was the UFC or MMA mentioned. He claims that because of Joe's move to Texas, he has fewer celebrities on and proceeds to show clips in the background of guests that true JRE fans were unhappy about. Miley Cyrus is the top one I remember. The idea that Joe gets fewer celebrity guests because of his location is insane. He is the biggest platform right now, so he is the number one place to go for any celebrity to promote something. The most likely cause for there being less prominent celebrities is due to the mainstream media turning on Joe and calling him an anti-vaxxer and "far-right." These celebs likely aren't allowed to go on his show to promote projects anymore because his views no longer line up with mainstream media and the establishment. This video would have never been made if Joe didn't endorse Trump. And there's a good chance Joe wouldn't have endorsed Trump if Kamala had done what most of us wanted her to do and done the podcast herself. People wanted to see her have an actual conversation with someone for 3 hours. But her and her team clearly didn't have the confidence to let her speak unscripted for 3 hours, which speaks volumes in and of itself. The idea that she didn't have the time to go on the biggest platform in the US, which, if successful, likely would have made the election a lot closer than it was, is completely absurd. The few podcasts she did go on all came across as completely disingenuous. Then, after the election, we get the mainstream media, still so completely out of touch, talking about how the right built up their own massive media network with people like Joe Rogan and how they need their own Joe Rogan. They had their own Joe Rogan, but they turned on him and literally tried to get him censored and cancelled for daring to think independently and challenge the mainstream narratives. In terms of the whole COVID narrative, as more and more information comes out about the vaccine, the more it seems like there would be more people alive right now if the listened to Joe instead of mainstream media. This comment has kind of gone off the rails, but I hope that you, or at least one other person, will read it with an open mind and re-evaluate your understanding of both the Russia/Ukraine conflict, and just how toxic, divisive and manipulative the media has become. This is the golden age of propaganda. But I understand how hard it is to change your views and opinions and to acknowledge that you have been believing BS for years. I hated Trump for years, and I still consider myself more of a left-winger than a right-winger. I was rooting for Biden in 2020. It took a lot of different things to finally make me start thinking for myself. I remember before the 2020 election hearing about Hunter's laptop and feeling suspicious about all the censorship around it and the 51 officials immediately calling it Russian disinformation (which was clear election interference in hindsight), but I found ways to justify it in my mind. Then, things like J6 and how politicised it was and how Trump was made out to have said things he didn't and not say things that he actually did say. I still rationalised that in my mind. Same with Afghanistan. It was specifically COVID and the Russia conflict that finally made me wake up and felt like such an idiot. For context on the COVID part, I had got COVID a couple of weeks after I got my 2nd jab. Proceeded to get another booster and came home that day with the same symptoms I had when I had COVID times 1000. I almost died and I was so weak that I couldn't make it to the other side of my bedroom to get my phone and call for help for almost 2 days (I was 24 years old). Okay sorry rant officially over. Hope I helped someone

I don't think the Spotify deal made that much difference - he was already making $300,000 a week on KZbin. It's also been running since 2009 which is a really long time, everything he has a shelf life

If you're endorsing Donald Trump and JD Vance... you're far right. One of them attempted a coup and the other one said the coup would have been successful if he was vice president.
