The fact that they fired him and then he got so big they had to hire him and pay him to be an opener has to be the highest point of his career

I was just fired myself this week. My work place was a 'den of thieves'. These human stories, even coming from the entertainment industry, make me understand it's all a game of chance and politics. We're all human friends. Stay positive everyone, your turn is coming.

100% . A big part of this game of life is, who you know, and your relationship to those people.

I got fired from an amusement park job 10 years ago after I finished my last shift at the end of the season. They stole $1k+ bonus from me. They were over budget so they fucked non-management.

Shane is my favorite comedian. This dude is freaking hilarious. Glad he didn’t stay on SNL since then we would miss out on all these jokes. Seems like a genuinely good guy.

Why would Shane being on SNL cause folks to not be able to appreciate his talent? Makes no sense.

SNL would have brought him down. They’re just not that funny most of the time

It's genuinely a blessing. Because he couldn't have done the gut busting skits he did on KZbin if he got the SNL job. I haven't been breathless from sketch comedy since Chappelle show. Big ups to Shane!!!

My buddy and I watched and listened to pretty much all of Shane's stuff driving to Myrtle Beach the other weekend and I said the same thing. He wouldn't have been utilized the right way on SNL.

What would have prevented him from doing KZbin stuff on his own, even if he had been hired for SNL?
