As a gen x'er growing up I watched GForce, Robotech, Space Battleship Yamato, Voltron, etc. which led to Appleseed, Ghost in a Shell, The Light and Darkness War, Afro Samurai, Samurai Jack, etc. Those comics/cartoons along with some other stuff like Judge Dredd, White Dwarf, etc. always seemed way more interesting than the rest of the stuff out there. Cool stuff Sturgill and thanks Joe for having him on.

Let’s try it “. Glad I did. Amazing story told in two types of art with the same complexity. I was amazed at the brilliance.

I watched the album before i even knew what it was so i was just sitting there like "animation and music is fucking astounding but when will there be any dialogue???" And then proceeded to watch the whole thing
