Terminal List is the greatest military SOF action series I’ve ever watched. So well done and accurately portrayed, it’s what every inaccurately filmed military movie or series should aspire to. Even great movies like Sicario, there are cringy moments or scenes that show that either the actor or director or writer or prop master, doesn’t know what the hell they are doing, but everything in Terminal List is just spot on. And the actors are excellent, especially CP. Amazing!

@@timm7681 Fon’t spoil it! Jk, hope I can get to that episode tonight! Seeing Jack Carr find Chris to be the main character is just amazing, plus they look alike and Chris has that serious attitude, stature. He for sure was a good choice. My father might not want to watch it from his experiences. He took shrapnel from across a dirt wall when an explosive blew a hole through the building as his team were breaching, he was doorman and one of the few that got hit specifically by the explosive. He said like nearly 20 made it back out of 90. Nearly stabbed, he was chosen and told he would fly but his physical capabilities made him a better marine. Had to go back home after his injuries. He was not battle ready of fit for service after. The reality always hits him when we start talking. Gets emotional, and can’t talk about the specifics for long except how he knew when he was asked he chose to go home. Thinking of his wife and kids, he sometimes mentions how it’s easy to dehumanize others when it’s instilled and brainwashed that they’re all the enemy. He still loves the military, he just feels used since what’s happened to Afghanistan, he got upset from frustration seeing the way Biden handled the issue in Afghan. He hates hearing about what those civis are going through because he is forever scarred from that time, knowing how he was in a conflict of interest. Breaching civi homes, not knowing who’s specifically the target, or that they’re in a area with no departure.

Terminal List was amazing. Just shows how disconnected the critics actually are when reviewing things. Audience gave it at least on IMDB an 8/10 rating. 8.1 actually and that’s very good. To put it in perspective the highest score on there for any movie or show is like a 9.5. Dark Knight is tied for third best film of all time on there and it has a 9.2 so 8.1 is very good.

It’s crazy to think that I subconsciously trained myself to ignore the main thing that could end my life. IEDs were like living in a tiger cage. The tiger is just in there, you have to ignore it or you’ll starve to death worrying about the tiger. I’m a young dude & some of your interviews have helped me understand my mindset tremendously

WOW ... the actual Magnum PI episode was titled "Did You See The Sunrise". I remember that because it instantly became my favorite episode after that ending. His friend Mac was blown up in Magnums Ferrari that he let him borrow to see a girl I believe the reasoning was. As soon as they finished talking, Mac turned the key and it blew up. Shocked the hell outta me at the time. I was 19 and watched it every week. Amazing that Jack Carr mentioned it !!!

After first seeing a trailer for Terminal List I told my wife I wanted to watch it. After watching the trailer she said she wasn't interested. Three nights later I'm watching episode 3 and the wife sits down. With two episodes left and it's really late she says "we gotta finish this tonight!" This was the first series we bone watched in one night! I'm prior service and retired LEO. This was one of the few shows I've ever watched in which I had no complaints regarding tactics and shooting skills, etc. What a great show!

@5:00 ish. I totally agree with the acceptance of fate. While not an operator, I was in the Infantry and was deployed to Iraq, during 2003-2004, and saw so many crazy things while on patrols. It's crazy because I would have explained it the same way he just did. Always looking, always evaluating always scanning...then..after a bit you're just like...if its my time, "(fate)", its my time, my men and the mission need my concentration, and you divert to the mission. Great series, I have to admit, for me, it brought back many demons and stuff I'd pushed way down deep, but it was very good, one of those shows that make you want to enlist, then realize, I did enlist and retired after 20 years. Thanks.

@@ninjanateb420 I'm not saying Chris is perfect, but I think there might be personal reasons behind her saying that, and we might not get the full truth. I think their views on how to conduct themselves played a part. There's a show she does orb did? On CW that Chris might object to, they talked it out, she got mad and didn't want to change citing him as a "nut job" for taking a stand. But who knows, at least it seems they left on good terms. I think I remember hearing her say she didn't want to feel controlled or something, sounded to me like lifestyle issues.
