It's just that the propaganda against them made them extremely taboo and that taboo never wore off. Of course, they're also banned in any legitimate sport so there's that. But my point was that we've had people grow up seeing Arnold deny steroid use and then end up believing that you can look like Arnold without steroids because he said so. These boxers don't even lift weights like bodybuilders and yet... what do they look like? Bodybuilders. That's how you know beyond any shadow of a doubt that they've juiced for years.

Reality is athletes are firing tons of chemicals in to their system constantly that are offering them better performance or recovery etc... And some are legal, some are not. Lewis is a class act and he was a great fighter. Atypical for a boxer. Fighters should watch this and if they're going to emulate a great fighter? Emulate Lenox Lewis.
@jazmar08225 жыл бұрын
4:17 that is incorrect, all the names crossed out aren't for steroids. Asafa Powell was never caught using steroids, the administration that governs performance enhancing drugs has a list that includes drugs that they think can be used as a masking agent. So if you take the wrong supplements, or take over the counter medication to fight a cold, chances are it may contain something that can be used to mask the use of steroids. So you can fail a drug test even though you're not cheating. That's why they recommend you look the list of ingredients in any drug and match it with their banned list, and if you need to take something for a cold you must declare it. If you didn't let them know and it shows up on your test then they consider you a cheat even though you didn't test positive for steroids.

Right, but they are all using. Track and field is a joke. Same with cycling and weightlifting.

If you have a masking agent in your system it's to mask PEDs you're taking, right? Why else would you have a masking agent in your body?
@jazmar08225 жыл бұрын
@@Paulafan5 Yes and no, WADA has a long list of ingredients they consider to be masking agents. New things keep being added to the list, I'm not sure how athletes are even able to keep track of them. So if you take a pain killer honestly just for pain, and you don't check to see what's in it, you will fail unless you let them know in advance. There was an athlete who thought it was OK to drink an energy drink only to find out there was something in the energy drink listed as a masking agent.

BOXING MONKEY Maybe so, when it comes to Sports competing against the best who already use Steroids, PED’s & other methods to gain an edge, I don’t doubt most use it. Including Lennox, Floyd was caught with the IV & not agreeing to Pacquiao’s testing contract after the fight for $5 Million. It’s hard to believe there’s nobody who does them.

@Patricio Jesus before during and after his short reign. Steroids were and are just as prevalent in combat sports as they are in body building. Just for different reasons. As far as I'm concerned, hormone replacement is an epidemic. It seems everyone at the top is taking it. For looks, vitality, strength, anti aging ect. So to say Lennox Lewis is innocent?? Only way that's possible is if he was being juiced without his knowledge. Like the NFL players in the sixty's when lunch came with unknown pills.
@blindingshadow34635 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what I base my claims on. Lennox fought in the era of juice, but yeah your right he was a boy scout and beat all the juicers. Bro I implore you to see just how fast and complete Lewis's transition was. He just didn't react as well to the drugs as holy field, but arguing with you over this, to me is like speculating on Arnold swarzanegger, but remember Arnold lied....it was his closest friends who outed him. Ask evander and Tyson if Lennox was juicing. Ask Teddy Atlas.

Has anyone ever accused or suspected Mike Tyson of being on the juice? Interesting that hardly anyone associates Tyson’s name with steroid usage. The guy was 5’9” built like a tank, super fast and powerful. If Mike Tyson was 20 years old today in 2019 as opposed to 1986, people would have accused him of being on the juice. Not saying he was, just saying we live in the days of steroids accusations

Mike Tyson was 200 pounds when he was 12 years old. The guy is just naturally huge. Already a fridge at 13. He says that his ancestry is Congolese and that his grandmother from his mother's side was a very strong woman and that's where he gets his knockout power from. His grandma was a maid in a white woman's house and her husband kept hitting the woman so she stepped up and told the woman's husband to not hit his wife, but he took it as a joke so Mike's grandmother who was described to be a big woman, knocked him out in one punch it seems. Next day he politely greeted her and became a changed man. Never hit his wife again is what it said.

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield were both on PEDs. In an interview, Evander mentioned that when, he and Mike trained for the Olympics, Mike could train for much longer than anybody else. This is a forgotten component of PEDs. Increase endurance and increase recovery times. Mike should have kept growing if he was natural as he won the title in his early 20s. Evander was a pumped up cruiserweight. Boxing is a sport were gaining weight and still being very fit is almost impossible. Fitness leads to weight loss but Evander got bigger and fitter which is another sign of PEDs. George Foreman at 40 still had genuine knock out power years after retiring because he was born strong, same as Lennox. These guys don't shrink and take their power intact with them into old age.
