He said hes chess rating is 1100 thats not high at all and you dont get to be a master at 1400 like he said you need to be at least over 2000 but at boxing he is the grandmaster .i think best heavyweight in history beat everyone he fought.
@scellie_68743 жыл бұрын
I mean I dont think he said how long he was playing, I might be wrong but I digress. Say hes only been playing for a couple months. It could be a very quick progression, and I don't think he was referring to grandmaster, it's around 1200-1400 that separates the part time players from the people who play as an obsession.
@Nesto383 жыл бұрын
@@scellie_6874 fuuuck no it doesn't. Someone who is a 1200 could just as easily be playing the same amount of chess as someone at any other elo. I get what you're saying though but you simply cannot put it as someone who is a lower elo plays less chess than a higher rated elo player.

He said he plays approximately 4 times a day,now that he's retired, and he also said it's to keep his brain active, because of the professiona he used to do, maybe regressing his cognition.This is the definition of a clever person, far more clever than chess nuts, who are obsessed with the game, and their ranking, feeding their personality defects, with no self-control. It was clear in this section, that Lennox is far more grounded and mature than the other two, when he makes these points and also that it is not about winning. It's about enjoying the game and Testing Different Strategies, and the Other Idiots Just Keep Going on about Rankings and Who He Beat. A Man amongst Boys!

Sorry, to say guys, but 1100 blitz rating on chess.com (he's actually 1055) is a beginner. I don't know where he got the idea that 1400 is a master. That's not even close to a master. Lennox makes a mature, admirable and inspiring comment that he plays several games of chess a day, to keep his brain active - especially because of his previous career.The other 2 guys spend the rest of the podcast asking how good he is, how high he is ranked and whether he beat this guy or that guy.Lennox intelligently makes the point of why does it have to be about beating everyone, all the time, he just enjoys the process, and the guys keep going on about who he beat.
