Watch Before Buying Headers for Your C6 Corvette!

I bought 1 7/8" American Racing Headers. They were pricey, but they were amazingly constructed and fit perfectly. I can't complain.

@@ahmedkashouq9866yup. Took a little precision to feed them in, but they went right on. I will say you need go wrap or shield your starter though, they get hot and will cook it.

The first modification I did on my Corvette was a fall exhaust 1 7/8 inch headers long to tube no cats 3 inch exhaust all the way back and after a year of daily in the car the only time it’s annoying is on the highway above 75 miles an hour it’ll start drowning then, but it still sounds so much better than stock. It’s worth a hearing loss.😊

Yeah even though I'm in an '04 C5 with the LS1. The guy who works on it for me said don't bring me cheap junk to install, so I said what's good for it? Because I had a lifter tick on cold start for a few minutes. He said get Kooks headers kit with the x pipe and mid pipe and Brian Tooley racing cam kit. He tuned it all on HP Tuners. Sounds better and pulls harder.

my stg 4 cam just came in, so i’m looking at headers. idk which to go with when I want to time to be low&aggressive, but no drone(basically want it to scream and have a loud chop). any suggestions ?

headers don’t cause drone. The axle back causes the drone, but to answer your question, kooks seem to the “go to”

nobody mentions emissions and how the car will not pass emissions after installing headers with high flow cats. it has been a nightmare and expensive to complete a car with headers that will pass emissions in my city/county.
