I hate when resellers say something sold for $110 when 45 of those dollars are shipping. The item itself did not sell for $110, the item sold for $65 and the shipping cost was $45. Nobody sees or gets to keep that $45 (other than the post office) so it should not be included in the "sold price" ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SHOWING VIDEOS WHERE PEOPLE COME TO LEARN.

I get where you’re coming from, it can be kind of annoying to hear the total. But from a eBay sellers perspective, it actually does “sell” for that price with shipping, and it’s important to note that because sellers actually pay taxes on the shipping “sold.” And from a buyers perspective they paid all that money to have that single item.

agreed, it is annoying. But that is the ebay math also. After the sale, the seller subtracts all of their costs from the TOTAL sale,, which includes the cost of shipping if you purchase your shipping from ebay. by the way, ebay also charges a fee ON THE SHIPPING. Some you tubers go one step further in their analysis of a sale, stating the PROFIT made on the sale. It's a bit more time consuming to take this step but it adds a big dose of realism to this actual grind. Otherwise, it sounds too good to be true.

Check local box wholesalers in your area. I live in SC and there are two locations of the same business. I can always buy large boxes, packing noodles, Kraft packing paper from them for less than I can order them.

@@nanwvwat9540 the ones worth selling will have a model number printed on the frames of them. Look up the brand plus the model example: Ray ban rb3025

Modern frames usually have a model number on them, and a size with 3 numbers. You can go by brand and model number (logically ideal, but not many sellers put the model numbers anywhere in the listing). Or, put the brand name and the size (eg 55-18-140), and whether they are mens or womens for a rough idea. Be sure to include the size in your listings, over 50% of eyewear on eBay does not list the size/measurements (I am sure many are returned for fit reasons.)

eBay doesn’t let you sell prescription glasses, but you can sell frames. So, leave them as is and list them as frames only. You wouldn’t know the prescription specifics anyway, most likely.
