If you are a andis masters user these clippers are amazing. If you are more of a wahl guy then you are going to have trouble and take longer on your haircuts. Its not difficult to fade with but what people dont realize is that the half guard you only need to use it halfway, quarter of the way and closed to blend into the 1 closed if you choose to use the half guard. Certain hairtypes you can skip the half completely. Meaning you only need to use the half for a small portion of the haircut or to detail or spread out the fade more. Once you understand that you can knock out haircuts really fast. Its not hard to use but if you not used to a clipper that opens more it takes a good amount of time before you can truly do the same work or better work in the same time or faster than you do with more traditional clippers.

@@TankBeChoppin Interesting ive sat my masters down since these came out and i havent felt the need to touch them since. I would reccommend trying a fade blade on these clippers. It fits a wahl fade blade so its an easy swap. it will cut closer to the skin and it may be easier for you. I stick with the taper blade it came with though

it has a stand now , and a matching trimmer with a stand. I love it as a guy coming from the masters. its real quiet and strong. i moded my purple andis guards to fit it.

The further open a lever is the less hair fits into the slots where the hair is being cut so you have to go slower to remove hair. The ability to open to a 1 is pretty pointless unless your blades are extremely sharp. The eversince SPX blades (using omnicord wahl senior blade instead of crunch blade from eversince) I have found work extremely well with a fully open lever and remove bulk with ease but stock blades do not. If they release an eversince blade for these soon I have a feeling that’d increase the speed of hair removal.

My favorite pair of clippers, try them with the fade blade, it’s a game changer 🥶. Literally my go to clipper I have 2 of them, they helped me get way faster too can knockout cuts in 18-35 minutes, depends on what they get

Everyone on here talken about it opens to much are wahl/babyliss users the andis masters click feel right at home with them opening that far I prefer it opening like that given my cordless masters sounded like a chainsaw this was a breath of fresh air I snagged 2 pairs I got the silver joints and the gold joints the trimmer missed the mark though I'm bout slap the gtx blade on there see how it goes also the gold edition ones come with a stand

I don’t feel they are made too cheap. At least not the gamma. They feel like a good quality clipper to me. But for sure the babyliss Wahl and masters feel elite

@@TankBeChoppin it has the best technology by far. But performance wise is where it fails. It's like I'm been forced to work at it's pace. I like high performance clippers. I can't push this clipper the way I want. It's far beneath the best machine out there when it comes on to performance.
