Hey, hope you see this: if you’re wondering why sometimes and item is used before you attack when you’re faster (ie against lt. Surge’s Pikachu) is because the ai picked quick attack and it uses the priority of the move instead of the item. Just letting you know since you questioned it in an older video

Just came here to say “I” renders faster than “A” because it is 16 pixels rather the 33 pixels that need to be drawn using “A” so the extra 1.6 seconds necessary to reach “I” is okay because it saves you 9 seconds overall. * *not scientifically backed up but you can hear Werster rant about it if you are so inclined.

I am 95% sure that this is just not true lmao The gameboy uses a tile system where each 8x8 block of pixels is a single tile. As far as I’m aware, gen 1 games don’t include kerning in the font, so every tile (or letter) would take the same amount of time to draw or update

Dunno if Zapdos would be a good fit. In his zapdos video, zapdos is already 10 minutes behind Mewtwo's previous record at Mt. Moon. It's hard to imagine a short cry making up for a poor move pool when you can simply let a pokemon's health enter the red zone and bypass the cry anyway.

Actually I was thinking with all the talk of saving trips to the pokecenter if he used TM's, PP ups and such at the right time to restore/replace spent power points he could save some time that way. Pretty sure this generation gives you full PP when you learn a new move.

That would probably be because he doesn't count the champion himself as the split, he counts the end of the game as the split. The timer keeps going until the credits roll.

I love how Bruno is such a joke, that JRose doesn't even have a split for him, it just goes Lorelei to Lottery (Agatha). Which makes sense, cause if you were to put this in platformer terms, Bruno is basically an autoscroller.
