Exceptionally well done and fully agree on all items listed. One of the first things I did when I got to Sports Network International in 1987 was remove "Stack Arms" from the all-service meet as I saw how amazingly different the difficulty level was to stack armed between the Army and the Marine rifles. At this point, they are as useful as an appendix in exhibition drill. Good job guys!

I have a Remington Arms demilitarized 1903-A3 in a NGA stock and I'm having trouble making my rifle get the 'clack'ing noise on movements and spins, especially when catching it clockwise. I have just over a month until my State championship so I'm hoping to get that modified/fixed before then. If you need, I can send pictures and/or videos. If you could help, that'd be a lifesaver...!

Nathan Chand Do you mean the DrillAmerica M1 replica drill rifle from Parade Store? If so, it's almost ready to drill from the get-go. Remove the stacking swivel using a small phillips head screw driver and tape the sling in the same fashion. You may want to use strapping tape in the same area to cover the front screw of the bolt/receiver.

If youre in a pinch and the Allon Screws are stripped you can just hammer the rear sight off.

I cant take out the front sight and I wanna dismantle my rifle, is there anyother way i can take out the front sight?

+MrAsianboy818 We use a Dremel Tool with a Grinding wheel to remove enough material from the sight and pin to allow it to slide right off. Works great!

You need a punch and a hammer, possibly a file if its bad.

How do I tighten the stacking swivel screw back? It's really hard to do and idk if I'm doing it right

Crane You should be able to line it up and screw it back in. Make sure the receiving end and the screw aren’t misaligned - that can sometimes happen!

Christian Kastoun Agreed! Sometimes they can be a pain. If you have a Daisy rifle, it’s even worse. Would recommend soaking the pin area with some kind of oil or aid (liquid wrench or similar). You may just want to take them to a shop and have them cut off if they’ve been used for a while; that pin is a pain!
