I wish the PBA events would show an image of the ball being used during each shot like you guys are doing.
@Tcrror
@Tcrror 3 жыл бұрын
That would be SO nice and definitely helpful, haha. I never understood why the PBA telecasts only say which ball is used like 5% of the time. It's an extremely important part of bowling...so, yeah. Never made sense to me.
@gfcgtv6538
@gfcgtv6538 Жыл бұрын
That would take some producing for sure. Not much time tho. Get players to line up their ball list, give to the rep, rep confirms balls prior to the set. then producer must know the ball to populate the image once the player cradles. Maybe put it like 5% scale in a corner. I think it is a good idea for sure.

I was rooting for Gootz lol. My four teammates and I after league will usually do a one game match. We each just throw in twenty bucks it's nothing crazy. The most I've won from an event is when I came in first one year during my pro shops annual Thanksgiving Eve tournament. I took home $1,500.00, so that was pretty cool.

About to get heavily back into bowling. Been watching Packy which is entertaining but being righty and 3 finger I was watching Hupes form more. And Hupe led me here. Love your educational videos on oil patterns, breakpoints, measurements and such. The wide variety between all your styles is extremely helpful to. Thanks for the great content!

Did a 750$us pot game with 4 bowlers. 2250$ winning 10th frame was X X 9:) only have done 4x the pot games thing. Fun but I don't have the money to lose most of the time. I won't gamble what I'm not ok with losing. This one was a great night though!!

What kind of camera gear does the pro shop use?
@jrproshop
@jrproshop 3 жыл бұрын
We mainly use equipment from Canon. In this video, the main gimbal shot was the Canon RP with a 35mm lens, the downlane angle is the 5D mark iii with a 70-200 mm lens, and finally the wide angle is the canon m50 with a 50mm lens.

I once started bowling a guy for a $100 , he started raising the bets and i got him stuck $3,700 . He tried to pressure me into bowling one game double or nothing. Being very aggressive i said screw you lets make it 3 frames for the cash. He could not back down in front of all his friends so we went for it. He was right handed playing 15 board and he promptly there his first shot in the gutter . Being polite i put my hands around my neck and told him nicely that was the biggest choke i have seen in my life. I was 17 , he was in his thirties , the year 1962.
