JRZ Multi-Fit Steel, pre-production, Unboxing and fitment guide for Bauer Edge and CCM XS holders

Joe shows how the new JRZ Multi-Fit Steel blades are installed in both the ‪@BauerHockey1927‬ Edge and ‪@CCMHockeyChannel‬ XS holder systems. These are preproduction blades, so need a small shin at the front of the blade in the Bauer setup, before full release.

I just go the MTF Pro Steel for Bauer Edge holders - is it normal for the MTF steel to snap into the holder, but the trigger not fully return like it does with the original steel? It's locked in and I can't pull it out without pulling the trigger, but much easier to remove than the original steel. Just curious if this is how they should fit in the Edge holder. Thanks!

I have the MTF Prosteel and they are loose near the front. These are the production runners. Do you suggest I use tape on the front?

Wouldn't "fixing" the issue by making the steel a touch thicker for the edge holders make it harder to insert into the ccm holders, possibly even making it not fit for the sake of having it snug enough for the edge holders

The tolerances work in such a way that it doesn’t effect the CCM XS fit with the change to the Bauer Edge fit. We’ve seen both the new and the pre-release. We’re lucky enough to get to test these with NHL/OHL folks. If it’s not going to work, we don’t carry it, and the folks at JRZ trust us to give honest feedback. Small business advantage🤙

@@bsharpottawa ya I saw byonic release theirs not too long ago but doesn't look like it caught too much steam. Probably because most people don't know about byonic. Jrz being pretty much step, i think they will sell like hot cakes

How did JRZ avoid being sued by Bauer and CCM?

It might be because this steel does not have the exact shape of the Vertexx Edge steel, so if Bauer patented the shape, then perhaps this gets around that... Maybe. I'm not a lawyer, so who knows, haha.

@@themightymite5688 Guess we will see if Bauer and others decide to let this go or if they start some legal BS.

CCM doesn't have patent's on their steel, and the lead engineer from Step is now part owner of JRZ.
