How I Organize My Movie Collection - A Movie About Movies

Here is a video where I show you guys how I organize my collection of movies pretty much from scratch. I turned on the camera without any planning really, so don't expect anything spectacular here in terms of fancy video edits, but I think I ended up with something that may be entertaining to at least a few people. If not...well, I had fun making it!

I may have DVDs/Blu-Rays that I may never watch again, but the reason I even have them is pretty simple; If the want to watch it comes - it's right there.

Also, I have the same Sauder shelf that you do, but in a brown/tan color with reversible brown/black shelves. I have the shelves black side facing up.

I have had a decent dvd collection. I have been reducing my collection last several years. Movies I know I won't ever watch again I donate to the public library or give away to family or friends. I still have a dozen or so I've never watched. I try to keep what I love to watch regularly out front and replace when they get worn with a new copy.

Cheap shelves ftw, at least they get the job done. Ones from Ikea are my favorite.

Nice video! I use the same exact shelves for my movie room..I like the price and I like the number of blus/dvds they hold. I got all mine from walmart.com...

You have A LOT of movies! I only have close to 200. I organize mine in alphabetical order. It's easier for me that way to find a certain movie that I'm looking for when I want to watch it.

I bought a spare one because I don't like the one I have (it's a little damaged). But the new one came damaged too, so it's not any different. Oh well.
