oh my goodness. I’ve been riding for 3 years. I started when I was 10, 13 now.. but 3 years ago, the night before my first lesson I was so nervous! Haha 😂 I googled how to ride! I’ve now learned it’s not something you learn in a video, but I was 10 then and my family had never been associated with horses what so ever.. I came across one of these videos, I watched this all night and took notes!! It’s so ironic this is very nostalgic for me! This channel earned a special place in my heart and I found it! 😂😂 new account now, but I remember when I found this when I was about to go to my first lesson and found it again when I finally can say I know how to ride!! Little cheesy, but sweet for me! ❤️

Thank you for sharing 😊 I’m so glad you found this channel helpful and are continuing to learn and grow in your horsemanship. One of the things I love about horses is that they challenge us to never stop learning. I hope you continue to enjoy your journey🐴💕

Thanks for the stretches and exercises! Could you make a sort-of diagnostic video to link riding problems with muscle weakness/imbalance or tightness? For example, it was interesting when you noted that if your leg muscles are too tight you might bounce more, or tend to lose your stirrups. If you could start with common riding problems like that and say, "if this happens, .... then maybe you need to ...." It would be really helpful. Thanks for all you're doing already!

I love your video!! Thanks for making them! I'm starting to lease my trainer's horse Pearl in April and it's very important to me to be strong and limber for my riding. With this covid my muscles have weakened and i'm worried about being able to post in the trot.

Thank you! Do you do any stretches or other exercises after you ride?
@JSHorsemanship4 жыл бұрын
Hi😊 Yes I often stretch in the afternoon when I’m done riding for the day. The areas I typically stretch are my hamstrings, hip flexors, back and shoulders🐴

Hey! I know you might not see this, but I am curious on if you have any ideas on what might fix my lower leg when I ride. My lower leg is constantly moving all over the place and it is very important for me to fix it. I have tried riding bareback, but that didn't work, I ended up falling off two times!! If you have any ideas on what might help fix my leg, that would be great! Thanks!
