@@JSM24makes sense 😅. I am a bit worried about relying on Shake Milton to playmake off the bench for us. I am definitely for getting Richards…he would definitely be the priority…. But the team needs in the least one more playmaker (who could at least be serviceable defensively and can shoot). I like Martin as well but I think a backup guard should be the focus behind a center.

How about signing Koloko? He seems to be a lot better than Woods or Hayes? Other than that I like the Cody/Richards trade. I just don’t want Pelinka to get too cute with the trades. We just need solid players that are not injury prone at this point.

Yes , Please ! He is a 7 footer, gets offensive rebound, 1 block a game, box out and screens! We don't need a star center, we need A TRUE CENTER. Howard and McGee were not great AT THAT TIME but they were effective and played their roll in fully This is what we need !

@@peteranders6893 Gettmg Vanderbilt back helps. Playing DFS in the starting lineup helps. Having a stable center helps with their rebounding. Teams aren't giving wings cheaply.

@thumpthumptv1651 We gave Caruso for 9.5, because luxury tax. We gave KCP to Denver so he could help light us up, because for 16M we deemed him inconsistent. We just threw D'Lo (granted not a wing, but still set a franchise shooting record and was our safest ball handler) away for DFS, who was a reject 5 years ago and is now a slow 6'7'' PF, who can't guard a single person on the wing. Taurean Prince is better. Cam is better. We are going to send Max Christie away the second he plays good as well. By the end of his 2nd year on the new contract, so end of next year, he'll be included in another trade. You cannot fix a back court of AR, Max and Rui by substituting the ghost of the former shell of DFS for Rui. Off the bench our only half way wing is Cam. Vando can defend down yes, but Vando makes Cam look like a primary ball handler. You cannot fix this with a big. The sport does not work that way. NBA2k does. But actual basketball does not. If you cannot stop teams from shooting and penetrating at will, then it does not matter who you put under the rim. In 2020 LeBron was playing point forward at the 3. He does not want to do that any more. The guy is the premier superstar of the league. If he wants to play PF, he will. You can stack the roster to the brim with other PFs and get center after center after center, but LBJ plays 35+ minutes at the 4. That makes AD your 5. That is not negotiable. Ask Thomas Bryant. Ask Jay Huff. Plus he had Jordan and Drummond. Both of them got us .500 with better players in the back court than we have now. They got DNPd and sat their asses on the bench, because this is a shooting league and these guys are liabilities. That is what our strength is. AD. Why is that so hard to understand? It is not 2020. You don't have Caruso, KCP and Danny Green on this roster. Top 5, top 25 and top 35 wing defenders who can shoot the ball well. When you have that you can play traditional isolation basketball with a big in the back court next to AD provided that is what LBJ wants to do. But now you can't. The difference between Hayes and Kessler is one block and 6 points per game. But you are benching Max or DK or Rui for that. You lose more than you gain. You also tire out LeBron faster. Even if he wanted to play SF, which he has clearly not wanted for like 4 years now, you would get worse not better. You were all set at 1,4 and 5. You went and got a rotation 4 for a starting 1 with picks attached to the starter for Pete's sake. It is catastrophe. So you moved your 6th man of the year candidate to the 1, where he gets killed worse than D'Lo did. Now you have holes at the 2 and 3 for defending any starters and the 1 as well. And you gained 0 shooting for that. You just took Austin away from where he made a difference to a spot that he has to learn for years to be competitive. Your roster contains LBJ, Rui, Vando, DFS and Wood at the 4. That's about 90+ million dollars in contracts at the 4. You have AD who wants to play there, too. But he can't because again LBJ is at the 4. So at 5 you have AD, Hayes Koloko and Wood again. That is like 50M at the 5. You got 13M at the 1. And you have 12M at the 2. Then you have a choice to make which guy that can't start at the 3 starts at the 3. DFS sucks. Rui can't defend any 3. Cam can't dribble the ball or shoot or penetrate at a starter level either. He is also not ranked in the top 80 defensively at the wing. He is better than DFS though. But he can't shoot at all rly, only one corner attempt and one from the top in a good game. One a good day you get 5 points out of him. Vando is even worse offensively and clogs the lane for LBJ, AD and even Reaves. Max penetrates like twice per game. We have no perimeter defense and we suck at shooting now. We get shot out of the gym by Dallas without Luka and Kyrie now. And all you guys talk about is how you need a McGee type to stop Jokic. Nobody stops Jokic. How is it not clear that what we need is Herbert Jones, Alex Caruso, KCP, any wing from Cleveland, anyone like that? You can put KCP and DFS in a foot race for 100 yards and KCP will hit 100 when DFS crosses the 60 yard line on his best day. These guys are not the same. How is that not obvious? Dinwiddie was a backup on the Nets struggling to see minutes. He destroyed us. Russ sliced us up and had 12 assists in 12 minutes against us. Edwards can't stop laughing when he plays us. Shai. Booker. Doncic. Boston. Cleveland. Orlando. Dallas. OKC. Everyone has wings. Everyone but us. When you ask anybody in 2019 what you need to do to win with LBJ and AD the answer is 98% likely to be as much 3&D around them as possible. And you guys in 2025 are staying a static slow center with 4 others in the roster for rebounds, a walk-on with a hear band as primary point guard for LBJ and a guy that looks a little like Kobe. Fill the rest of the roster up with PFS. Trade your starting PG plus picks for another one that has the worst defensive rating of all Lakers already. That is your starting wing stopper now? After you chastised Ham for starting TP your solution is a guy that defends a little worse, is a little smaller, shoots a lot worse and has played PF exclusively for 5 years now (and some small ball center). We are doomed, not because of Westbrook or AD or LBJ or AR or even Rui, but because this team can't construct a winning roster and the fan base is so bad at understanding basketball they celebrated a huge mistake in letting D'Lo go for nothing and attaching picks to him for a rotation PF that sucks on a roster with 100M in power forwards. And now you think a center and another backup PG are the solution while what Max and DK become elite wings this year? Seriously? Lol. This fan base knows nothing about basketball and Trevor isn't much better. Timpf explained this all twice to you guys and yet oh yeah need a wing...so about this big we need and this other PG. Lol. By the way OGA went for a PF and Quickley plus two seconds and took NY from 10 to 2 in half a season. Caruso went straight up for a guy famous for having put his relationship with a minor on the internet. Brown went for nothing? KCP walked for nothing. Soon enough New Orleans will sell off the team and Herbert Jones (a top 3 NBA wing defender who can shoot) will get gobbled up for a talented 13M guy plus a couple 2nd rounders. Just watch. The whole NBA is mixing and matching wings everywhere. But we only buy one way PFs and then Trevor calls them wings until we get rid of them for half their value later. Power forwards aren't wings at all. And adding a center only improves rebounding if that center gets on the court, which is impossible to do. Hayes? Koloko? What do those guys look like? I can't remember. JJ is not putting them on the court when any guards and wings light us up. He can't. Ham couldn't either. Oh well. Tried this since 2021. So which big and guard do we need now? Kessler and Sexton? Sexton has the worst defense in the NBA. D'lo is leagues better. But you want Sexton? I am not sure Kessler beats Hayes 1v1 or Koloko. That's the solution? Okay. Play-ins here we come.

These are the type of moves that are not sexy but necessary. I like both guys from Charlotte, but I’m trying to make it a 3 team deal with Washington. We send out Gabe,Rui,JHS,Cam, and Wood and we get back Kuz from Washington and Martin and Richards from Charlotte. We can give Washington a first and Charlotte a second. See if you can get Washington to ship out a second to Charlotte because with this deal we would be clearing room of the cap sheet plus they get a first. We would need to sign a guard because we have 2 open roster spots and would need to get to 14 We would have a very versatile team AR,Max,Kuz,Bron,AD Dalton,Vando,Martin,DFS,Richards/Hayes plus whatever minimum PG we sign.

@@binayathapa4046 In the playoffs AR and Bron will be playing Heavy minutes. They will be your two primary ball handlers. I also mentioned signing a minimum PG Fultz or DSJ would work. Also with Adding Kuz he has been an offensive initiator while in Washington. If you think, that roster wouldn’t make a playoff or only make it 2 the second round idk what to tell you because we would be getting upgrades from all 3 players Kuz does what Rui does plus some. Cody Martin is a good 3&D SG to play behind max, better than Cam and Dalton currently, and Richards is better than Hayes and wood who hasn’t played. That would leave Gabe who practically gives us nothing on offense consistently and defensively he is small so DSJ or Fultz would fill the same role

I know you all have to make content to make money but honestly you all need to stop! Rui is a special piece and if they trade him nor Jared, it will mess up the team chemistry, right when they have just beginning to gel with the latest trade players. Christian Wood hasn't played this year so he can go. Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish need to stay. Allow the coach to coach and put his schemes in place and allow it to sink. Allow things to happen naturally and stop trying to buy a championship via trades. The longer they play with each other then the better for the TEAM.
