For the Americans in the crowd this is Furikake (振り掛け / ふりかけ) is a dry Japanese seasoning meant to be sprinkled on top of cooked rice, vegetables, and fish. It typically consists of a mixture of dried fish, sesame seeds, chopped seaweed, sugar, salt, and ( of course ) monosodium glutamate.

With my limited knowledge I think this is a 'sprinkle' that you use in Miso or on other rice dishes like breakfast Rice porridge. Best I got from here in the UK :)
