Roger Staubach was rugged! Check out his tackle of Jake Scott at the 20:12 mark! You don't see that much from QBs.

Bears, Chargers, Giants and Oilers were very bad teams. Bills and Falcons would each go 9-5 in 1973. Cardinals went 4-9-1 for the 3rd straight time, but at times, they looked formidable and would be in the playoffs in '74. Coryell turned them around. Patriots would also improve under Chuck Fairbanks in '74.

Didn't get to see the Giants play a playoff game until my senior year in high school. They would make up for it the next decade. Funny, Pat Hughes was a decent linebacker in those days but nobody remembers he was number 56.

the dolphin/dallas part was pure BULLSHEIT...miami completely dominated the game, it was a statement game by shula to show tommy boy who was boss....and they dominated them in dallas....the end of the game, which tomboy brookshiester fails to show, has miami grinding out yardage and first downs right to the dallas goal line...yet shula, in a show of class actually has his runners NOT try to score....pure class...i wonder if tommy boy landry really understood the message.....

Miami was the better team that day. And on the biggest stage a couple years back it was Tom and his Cowboys who showed the World and Shula they can grind with anybody.

Yeah, I've listened to an old radio broadcast of this game. It was insane how Miami got the ball in the 4th quarter on the 50-yard line with just under 9 minutes in the game and they were able to grind it out to run out the clock on Dallas's one yard line.

Giants quarterback randy johnson drank himself to death in a shed. Google it. Very sad

I am just old enough to remember his Giants days. Sad indeed.
