I was at most of the home games growing up, so I was probably at this one. I forgot how long the shows were back in the day. They dancing alone was like 8 minutes. I also miss Wavey Dave (David Chambers). Flyest mascot ever. I guess he wasn't hitting the goal post with the little tigers yet.

I don't know why some people still follow band if they're expecting the band to do the same thing they were doing almost 30 years ago. I saw someone on a website comment that they last like the J-settes in the early 80s after Ms. Worthy was let go. Really? Why are you even still watching?

Never doubt the Rattlers. But this performance does go to show how HBCU marching bands in general, have devolved. They definitely don't perform like this anymore. At least from what I've seen.

This would have been a decent 80's show of jsu had not stole Southern U. Trombone solo from the kid n play song and also stole the whole James Brown skit from Texas Southern who did the same thing to them the year before in 1988 on jsu homecoming Back then The Boom was notoriously known for often imitatING but never duplicating 🤣🤣🤣.

+rofieldsboy04 Man we've "mocked' Alcorn since 1984! And y'all played Kid/Play as a dance routine; we played the bridge JUST to bring the Jaycettes onto the field. You gotta do better than that............
