Definitely a radical departure from his previous material. He works out the lyrics and then takes it to musicians in the studio. He ended up tracks without lyrics..and then the more difficult task of fitting lyrics to musical tracks already cut. He lost a cassette with a year and a half of work in a taxi in Paris?...You would think he had backup to his work at least but obviously he didn't.
