I really like his playing. Good touch, tone, phrasing, and an interesting amalgamation of 80s-90s guitar combined with more contemporary styles.

Feodor is the Russian Steve Vai. You can see and hear Steve's influence in almost every movement. Incredible pitch control. Dare I say, flawless technique.

Amazing, I can definitely recognize some Uzbek vibes in this music too! Great job!
@gonzalooliveraalves3 жыл бұрын
I see a lot of people saying that Feodor is not a melodic player and that he should not be focusing too much on technique. What people needs to pay attention to is that: 1- This is him playing over a backing track made to be jammed over, not a fully fledged original song. He has a melodic sense that is up to his technical level, but you have to check out his own work to find out. 2- He has to showcase his technical ability to make you understand what you can learn from him. Melodic sense and stuff like that are something you gain with time and experience, but you are here to learn cool licks, and spice up your technique, that is the purpose of JTC.

This is among the most epic pieces of guitar music I've ever heard, and I've been listening from the late 60's, and it gets 80 dislikes?! What are they looking for?!
@SummoninVOoDooChilD11 жыл бұрын
I think the dislikes are from jealous Steve Vai fanboys, they cannot stand the idea that there is someone emulating their master better than them. I don't see many reasons explaining the dislikes, the only thing that comes to mind is that some might think he borrows too much from Vai... But you know it's the internet where weak minded people vent their frustrations
@Returnality11 жыл бұрын
Voodoo Child "there is someone emulating their master better than them" prove that part. Oh, that's right, you can't because once we get to the level of world class musicians things get subjective.
@grlex136611 жыл бұрын
Yes, just FIHM that many notes, but technically, what is!??? nothing, windbag ... even if technically.

Giannis V The problem is that you're confusing your opinion with fact. Saying "I dislike this guy" is one thing, but saying "this guy can't compose" is a very different thing.

Wow, what a talented young bloke we have here! Highly professional phrasing, creative thinking, outside the box. You name it. Sad to see some people bashing on him, Jealousy and low self esteem I guess. He sounds a bit like Vai? or is it just me? none the less he has his own touch on everything which is the most important. Shred made interesting. RIP yngwie, Wylde, Gilmour and all the others. Feodor, Guthrie, Hutchings are the new kids on the block ;)

Fantastic playing! This guy has obviously mastered the technical aspects of the guitar, but what I really like is his phrasing and his quirky note selection. It's beautifully done. It doesn't get much better than this. The folks at jamtrackcentral have a knack of finding some of the best unknown guitar players in the world. Keep it coming please!

I agree with you I do not know if over time this will become the new way to play guitar over his technique is quite modern and creative is something quite different. I confess the first time I saw, I thought somewhat "embellished" and means more pointless seeing some more videos coming and seeing this video, I understand better now and I think the development of this extraordinary phrasing that he has...sometimes remember some certain intentions master steve vai amid some licks it performs..
