Well Rooney has played almost all positions in the team. He hardly complained, his passion and dedication is second to nothing but still people gave him hard time when things were not going good. I won't say disrespected but under appreciated will be more of a suitable word.

Much more than just a striker tho. Ball carrier, playmaker, pass master he had it all. Can’t see pure strikers like aguero dropping into cm and playing crossfield diagonals like Rooney.

Not the best striker. I'm a United fan and I can accept Suarez is the best. But I think in my opinion he is a better overall player slightly. Maybe Henry too. Started watching in 2001 so I saw him but Suarez is the greatest striker I've ever seen.

Thanks JTG ❤ another Masterpiece. Rooney is the guy who made me fall in love with Man United and football. When i was a kid I'd always try to play like him, I'd call myself rooney. Sprint like him, shoot lile him. He was the first player i would buy in career mode and master league. I had pictures of Wayne on my school locker. My football boots were the nike total 90's. You've brought back so many memories bro. Thank you. Football really has a deep place in our hearts and life. I remember watching him in the 2004 euros and every night i would pray that our manager would bring him to united, you can imagine how i felt when we actually bought him after the EUROS. it was the highlight of my childhood. He is the best man united player in the clubs history.

This video brought tears in my eyes. People understand that he's my all time fav football player. But what they don't understand is that it's beyond simply being it like some love Messi/Ronaldo /Neymar.. . I know where I lived, who I loved, how I did in school for every goal /action I saw of him that I now see once again in this video . Rooney is my whole childhood and teenage years combined with my early adult years. He's part of my life forever. And what makes me sad is that I didn't watch him earlier , missed some of his matches and now he's retired. I can't describe it, I can't write words about how much I enjoyed watching him play or knowing details about him, his life and all the controversy that has come with it and I'm sure no one, no other football player will ever make me feel like that again.
