I didn't know t that was the draft control. But this will be the first year I have used my 140 hi clear. My 4610 SU pulls my 3 bottom plow and one row cultivator my 5301 does the mowing and harrowing. Good job.

Looks like those fields hadn’t been used for a couple years. That’s a good thing. Rotate your crops.

I really like the microphone on you while you are plowing and working the tractor. Telling us what you are doing like holding down the right brake to keep the right back tire from spinning was really good information. We could hear you very good. Please keep this up as we have never had that perspective before.

Looks like it is plowing good. The microphone was working good. Enjoyed listening to you as you were working. Doing a good job on plowing Joey especially leaving the sod water ways so the field doesn't wash on you. I'd like to get a 2 bottom like yours one of these days.

He’s mostly planting wildlife plots so I didn’t want to plow it all up. Plus I was trying to stay on sections that weren’t so steep.

Tractor handling the plough really well, you were turning quite a bit of soil over.

Plowed some myself last week. Same hear my tractor doesn’t like when it’s too wet. Man that fast hitch makes it look so easy, I get a workout hooking up my double bottom plow on the 3 point. The 140 handled that double bottom well. Use that mic every time, surprising how clear it was on the tractor.

Good job Joe...looks nice! I thought that sounded like your ignition before you said that. It seemed to smooth out some the faster you went! I run D-21 Champion plugs but back in the day when these tractors were ran under a load all day I think they ran 18's and even 16's! Autolites are great too! Good video my friend.....the 274 guy!

Joey this is the best one yet IMO. Learning continues for me. The way you had to steer into the slope and lean was spooky. I will have to be a flat lander, I guess. Could you address the use of coulters for us wannabes? Thanks buddy.

Coulters just cut the ground so that the portion of dirt that’s flipping doesn’t drag other stuff with it. Likes vines and grass clumps.

I use a rode mic when I’m talking. And then switch to a rode mic that’s mounted to a joby phone holder that we use doing field shots.

We just got a Super A with a fast hitch. It doesn't have the linkage to the front lift, and the front part of the fast hitch is connected to the bottom of the floorboard. Was the linkage optional? Is there anything you would operate with it connected under the floor board? Thanks!

Hello, I guess technically the only thing I really need that bar for is plowing. It raises the tip of the plow up and down. When your disking you should have it hooked to the floor board because it levels the disk out. Having said that if you noticed I hardly ever do that because the bar gets my disk a little higher up when I pick it up. Folks tell me a lot in the videos that my back row of disk aren’t level.

How deep you running that plow mr joe ?

We’ll I can tell you this I was pulling it shallow as I could on the upper side. The deeper I went on the upper side the more that tractor was tilted down hill. The bottom side I let it on down. Maybe 3 inches top side 7 inches bottom side give or take.
