Actually in comics, Aquaman is now pretty op, eg. He can summon and control Cthulhu and other unspeakable horrors from the dark deep sea. Also he can't control humans but he actually can give then a telepathic migraine..... Still he's better than Juan Marine and Submariner. It’s a common joke/stereotype that when someone says the break up was a mutual decision it actually means their lying and the their partner broke up with them meaning their girlfriend or boyfriend didn’t want to be with them for whatever reason.
