This and your black nmm are a real help and will refer to both when trying NMM myself. If you do more NMM guides, could I ask it be on models that are a little more tricky - they either have more irregular shapes or they don't have a large surface area to paint on (e.g. Necrons, Eldar, Imperial Guard etc). Thanks again, a major help.

I enjoyed this for sure. I'll definitely use the idea of taking a picture of the primed figure to identify the highlights. Great video. When you use a reference picture like that, what do you do for the rear side of the model? Would you turn the model around under the light, or take pictures from the other side without moving anything? Is it important to have a consistent light direction on all sides of the model?

Hi Juan, may I ask you two questions: do you use some kind of a glaze medium or lahmian medium from citadel for the different layers or just water thinned paints? What is the ratio of water and scrofulous brown for the first layer? It looks so damn smooth when you paint and you have total control of the thinned paint…and when I try to use thinned paints, either I have too much tinned paint inside the brush and when I stopped painting a drop of thinned paint runs down to the area causing a coffee stain or too less 😉. Thank you 😊
@JuanHidalgoMiniatures7 ай бұрын
Just water, no medium. I don't know the ratio, it's done by feel and don't trust anyone telling you about ratios when thinning paint, each paint is different and will need different amounts of water. There can even be differences between batches. By the sounds of it you have WAY too much paint loaded in the brush, make sure you have less or unload a bit into a paper towel before painting
