We drive from the Kruger National Park to Cape Town. This is the last leg of our 7 month overland journey through Southern Africa. We camp next to the Gariep Dam, Klein Karoo National Park, Gecko Creek and stay at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve. Juba shares his thoughts on following your dreams. All footage filmed in 2019.

I was one of those “One day-ers’, but a combination of Covid, JFDI, Carpe Diem, and no regrets, …. and …. we are now Booked - Nairobi to Cape Town in Aug, Sept, Oct 2022 in a heavily modified 4x4 Land Cruiser with Tent on Roof etc. Route will take us thru’ Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and the Western Cape.

When does Africa Season 2 start? 🙂 Ja Juba, I have watched these videos through more than once. What a Herculean effort putting all 20 odd episodes together, that in itself is an achievement paralleled with the journey. How do you view life now because the stirring of the sole cannot be unstirred? Settling into life again can only be seen as temporary once such a trip has been done. I get the sense that the sole will feel caged if you return to the rat race for too long.

I have been filming season 2 for the last 2 years, but I have not had the time to edit the videos as overlanding is now my full time career. I could not do the rat race for long. Shortly after our trip I started my own company called Endless Africa and I now do guided tours through Southern Africa. At some stage I will upload videos again.

Hi Juba, I’ve just finished your series of posts, amazing journey makes me so happy to see all the sites and animals. As you say stop dreaming and start planning, we did a 8 week trip up through the Okavango Khwai and Vic falls then on to the South Luangwa and back down through Zim and into the Kruger 18 months ago. Unfortunately we are grounded here in the U.K. due to COVID-19 and were unable to do our next planned trip. Hoping to get going this September.👍

Hi Juba, i have watched all your uploaded videos and they are truly exceptional. Love the mix of travel, people, wildlife, nature and incident. Your narration is great, feels like we get to know you both a bit. The programmes brought back so many memories, in 1998 age 25 my girlfriend (now wife) and i drove a 4th hand land rover 110 (1988, petrol) from Kampala, Ug to Cape Town and stayed in many of the same places (plus Mozambique and Zim). It was so awesome to feel on the road again and see those wonderful places in your video films. I have only 135mm slr film pics as a memory. Great stuff and good luck with your creative contnent business. Mark, now nr London, England. Ps one piece of happy feedback if you’re interested? It was all so great but i struggled with the music which seemed quite repetitive and frequent. Everyone is different and i am probably showing my age. Where you just had natural sound i felt it was much more atmospheric and real.

Don't bother with mossel bay it was the Pitts 🤣🤣🤣 at the time I think there was a train station on the beach or even a cemetery, I was only about 8, might have imagined it, but the Grand hotel on the front had bed bugs, so we left sharpish, defo remember that one!!!!
