Now, this is an incredible example of what REAL fans look like. They didn't throw hate towards each other's opinions, they weren't rude or standoffish. The DCEU lost to the MCU just like the Soviet program lost to NASA. No one cares what the Soviet program did when NASA landed on the moon. The MCU “landed on the moon” with Avengers Endgame. When someone says Captain America, the first thing I think of is Chris Evans, an ACTOR, not a character. He is perfect for that role, you could even say REAL Captain, but It just hurts me that people form opinions about characters from comics based on a form of art that is not written as a comic. I'm not saying that everyone should read comics, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but little to educate themselves about that art format if it is already the place of creation of their favorite characters. As someone who read comics for years before the whole MCU thing. I always felt like DC had better stand alone stories, and Marvel had better series week to week. Kingdom Come, Red Sun, The Killing Joke, and Dark Knight Returns are all amazing and probably my favorite comics, but Spiderman was amazing week in and week out. Brian Michael Bendis' run on Daredevil was unbelievable for years. Now that the movies are out, DC has ruined many of their characters for me. Batman is now just an angry meathead. He's no longer the hyper disciplined, detective and strategist, who also happens to be an amazing martial artist. Now he seems like punisher light and I am just disappointed because like everyone else he was always a favorite for me.

These comics are not popular and definitely doesnt involve their main characters but sometimes do. Torture scenes and mental manipulation don't last as long in marvel like johhny storm being trapped in another dimension tortured and killed then resurrected only to be tortured again.
