Ok.... So apparently some people have been taking the "cursed necklace" literally. It's a metaphor. The necklace represents a girl, and the song is about a girl who's parents just expect too much of her, and puts more pressure on her (which is represented by a necklace being tightened until she can't breathe any more).

For the people that don't know what Golden Child Syndrome is, here ya go. Golden Child Syndrome is a very common mental illness that mainly occurs in the younger age of people (sometimes older) and affects emotions and certain other things like mental stability and the way your mind functions. From what I understand (And what I've experienced, I've had it myself), what it's caused by is either strict, mentally abusive parents (bad and very bad), or parents who believe their child is the next generation of knowledge or something that is hard for other children. (Such as calling their child a prodigy at a very young age). This causes that child to be stressed or overwhelmed or any kind of bad emotion when they can't live up to or do something perfectly. This causes that child to be overly worried and anxious in fear of being ridiculed or put down either because of an accident or not being able to do something. This has gone on for lots and lots of years and there is no medical or mental cure I know of. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense but I tried explaining as best I could. Edit: I've seen a lot of comments asking if they have it and if its bad to self diagnose. First off, self diagnosing is not bad. But you should definitley see a doctor about certain things, because depression and anxiety may or may not come with Golden Child Syndrome. So please discuss with a doctor or somebody you trust about getting you tested.

After years of feeling this way i finally know the meaning of this song. the girl in the first part gets good grades but her parents never notice. she feels unloved and this collar around her neck is unsatisfied and needs more to feed on. she loves someone and tries to get them to love her back. but yet the collar wants more. this collar symbolizes not feeling good enough, her mindset that nothing will ever impress her parents and nothing will ever steal their heart, every good feedback she gets leaves this "collar" wanting more because it represents her insecurities and how she needs more assurance shes loved. when the collar isnt satisfied or wants to feed on more, it means her insecurities are telling her "this compliment isnt enough to know youre loved. give me more, i need more." its kind of like her inner mind. she feels trapped in the end under this collars will, and pretends to be satisfied and happy even if the collar isnt.

audriipockii I was looking for the deep commenter who has felt the pain and could speak on it as well. Thanks for sharing. I feel a lot of us feel this sense of unworthiness and needing someone to love us so badly. It starts in childhood with our parents and spreads like wildfire into our teens and adulthood if we don’t catch it before it’s too late. I like the song because it brings me back to those days and how even now her voice is in my being someone begging for love. The best we could do is love ourselves now and in this moment. Appreciate how far we’ve come and continue moving forward toward something better and more sustainable.
@Seraphicsorcery5 жыл бұрын

this song isn't about a yandere girl. From the sound of it it's a girl neglected by her parents to the point where she seeks attention from her classmates and friends. The 'necklace' is a metaphor for her brain saying the attention isn't enough and she ends up seeking more and more even though she doesn't feel it's enough. It ends up driving her crazy, even though all she wanted was love.

heya since yall are basically racking ur heads heres an explanation. "Aishite Aishite Aishite" is an original song by Kikuo. This song is about a girl who demands love and attention from other people as an effect of a cursed collar she wears. As she grows up, the collar's effect on her becomes stronger, making her end up feeling unsatisfied and continues to demand more love and attention from others, believing that the people whom she demands from are not enough. Another interpretation is that it is about a girl who wants love from her parents. Her parents want her to do well in school and do not give her the love she so desires. The collar she wears is a symbol of her parents' expectations. As she grows up and her body changes, the collar stays the same size just as what her parents want out of her doesn't change either.

They associate with these disorders extreme possessiveness, self-centered behaviour, lack of logical thinking, violent tendencies, etc. While these disorders may lead to these things they are not synonymous, and to present characters like these as "haha crazy" is a lazy excuse for character writing that only serve to further demonize people deemed as "crazy". Also, I never mentioned golden child syndrome, I just said "mental illnesses" broadly. But if you have a shred of media literacy you can figure it out : the character starting by calling out to her parents, comparing herself to her classmates and bragging about how much better she is than them, and expressing frustration that it's never enough to get the attention she desires from her caretakers. It's hardly got anything to do with Yanderes and golden child syndrome is very clearly the intended theme, although you can easily link it to different mental illnesses. I myself associate it with my own abandonment issues lol

@@yasmineh.1333 He never said that. Please don’t spread misinformation and don’t believe what people say without evidence. It’s not dangerous to interpret this as a yandere song either. Kikuo NEVER confirmed what this song was about. You can interpret it as you want and try to relate to it but don’t claim that Kikuo said something he didn’t say.

Aishite" is an original song by Kikuo. This song entered the Hall of Legend on November 24, 2019. On October 4, 2021 Kikuo announced on their KZbin channel that the song surpassed 1 million likes, taking the top spot numerically on both KZbin and Spotify.

For me it just shows a girl suffering from her inner turmoil. Outside she's kind, sweet and very quiet but inside she craves attention, she craves validation, she sees that everyone is below her but at the same time she's disgusted by how much she's feeling this so she's just torn. The choker on her neck can be a symbol for her suffering from this feeling. Edit: to the people that said "Omg I feel the same" I'm genuinely worried...

I personally think, that the song is about a girl, who grew up with “perfect” parents, who also wanted her to be perfect. They program her mind to aim to become “perfect”. She tries to become “perfect” to please her parents and mind, but soon realizes she can never be “perfect” like her parents. Desperate for love and attention, she begins faking it. She soon gains the “love” and “attention” she was thriving for. She realizes how good the “attention” she gained felt. Her mind (The “Choker”) becomes addicted to the feeling, while the rest of her, becomes trapped in a “curse” as they get dragged everywhere by “the choker”. The “choker” confesses it’s love towards all of the “attention” she gains. The rest of herself, soon realizes that she will forever be stuck in this never ending loop (that is the “choker curse”) so to keep the rest of herself “happy”, she continues to fake the happiness she gains from all “attention”. My theory makes it sound like her mind, and body, are two separate entities.... *But hey, that’s just a theory, a vocaloid theory, thanks for reading*

Just wanted to share my experience with Golden Child Syndrome, i don't have it anymore tho I just realized I had it back then but. Ever since I started kindergarten, I knew I had to get top of everything in order to feel valid, so and I became honor student until I was in 4-5 grade idk. That's when I got much more pressured & stressed, eventually I couldn't take it anymore and stopped trying. Then, my mom, teacher, and classmates started to notice my grades go down. My mom told me it was okay and just to try harder next time, my teacher embarrassed me a lot, some of my classmates stopped talking to me and looked down on me. Eventually even some of my friends stopped talking to me. I felt stupid, upset and useless that I started try again, though I knew I should stop doing things for others rather then myself. But now I've been doing good with my studies s been okay:) thanks for readibg

For people who struggle with singing/reaching the high notes: Don’t sing along because you’ll automatically try to match her pitch. Stop singing along to all songs in general. Memorize the lyrics so on your own you can practice & find a comfortable place in your voice where you can start and end without your voice breaking or anything lol. It’s best to only sing on your own as a beginner so you can (eventually) automatically know where you’re supposed to be in your voice range (Ofc you can still try to sing ambitious songs to try to broaden your range, but you should really be practicing in your normal singing voice before you make yourself disappointed and unmotivated from doing things that you aren’t ready to do yet).

I feel like I kinda relate to the girl in this song. I crave praise from my parents and others to feel good about myself, yet my successes are usually just expected of me. My parents expect me to do good on everything in school and when I do one thing wrong "I'm a bad daughter". It really hurts. Edit: It’s mostly my father who is like this and my parents are now getting a divorce. Needless to say, I’m going with my mom (pretty sure my dad is gonna ghost me after we move out) For anyone who is also going through this, you aren’t alone. My parents weren't neglectful of me but I could remember being absolutely terrified for even getting a C on a quiz. When report card day came around I got a 3.57 and my mom always used to tell me if I even got below 3.60 I would get a beating, so I was sitting there with my report card in my hand and on the verge of tears because I didn't meet my mom's expectations of me. We went home but I didn't get a beating she just scolded me like to the point where I cried a little I felt so horrible that I disappointed my mom that I actually started pushing away my friends because I thought they were the cause of my bad grades I thought my friends were just getting in the way and distracting me from my studies I even stopped drawing so I could study more, a child loves nothing more than their parent's love and attention and disappointing them can lead to a downward spiral I think there was a point where I even stopped eating dinner just so I could study more I didn't get an eating disorder thankfully but that 3.57 and the disappointed look and scolding I got from my mom really set something off and broke me for a while. Lmao sorry this was kind of a rant and I'm not trying to sound edgy or anything but yes all I can say that if you're a parent please don't be too hard on your kids because the only thing they want more in the world is to make you proud.

This is kinda the same from my situation, my mother always expected good grades from me and would beat me severely and would expect me to treat her nicely. Like- Bestie, you punched me in the stomach because I got an F. Anyways, I hope you're doing okay, you don't deserve that, no one does. I hope you're away from them, and if not I hope they are treating you more decently than they were before. I wish you the best.

I don't think everyone knows what this song means, it's about someone with golden child syndrome or good child syndrome it's not a song about a yandere obsessing over someone. Edit: 69 likes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Edit 2: 420 likes (° ͜ʖ °) Edit 3: not doing any more my life purpose has been fulfilled

Just as a personal perspective: the necklace is the expectations her parents had of her. It started off easy to achieve, but it wound tighter and tighter as the achievements became harder and harder to reach. Necklaces can be taken off and on as you please. Her parents gave her the necklace, and she put it on. She held onto it, even when it hurt her, because she didn’t want to seem ungrateful to her parents. I’m still wearing my necklace.

I wear a different necklace. My ex best friend gave it to me. I learned that she had a fight with my other friends and she did some awful things. I want to let go of the necklace. I want to take it off. But I can’t.
