Then a tumblr user (stfuadachi) actually voice acted/sang as the two characters and from there is where it got its massive popularity..

So it was out a year and a half and pretty popular already on Juby's social media (1.75 million views alone on her KZbin channel). Then 2 Undertale fans liked the song and made cover's (Nyeh Nyeh version by Luxiay Kuragon and Shutupadachi had guys talk/singing Juby's lyrics for which she was credited) The covers came out the end of Nov--not even 2 months ago--and new Undertale copycat projects started multiplying like crazy (some crediting Juby) But I think some fans are not sure exactly why or how they got here...Hope this helps!..;)
