That’s not a motor that’s an Engine. Two little motors lift it out and lower it into the water. What’s that awesome rig doing now at full throttle in flat water with just you and Kimber in the boat. The beginning of the video reminded me of looking through the different boating catalogs from the 70s & 80s with a older guy and two hot women aboard, but seriously you did such a great job that i don't think Mercury Marine could make a video to sell their products that would be any better, your editing & choreography is perfect. It is amazing what some companies / property owners will pay yearly to have just their windows washed annually ( 6 figure or more bill ). Maybe check with TVC Airport, hint-hint.

Except for the fact his 12 year old Mercury Verado motor was unreliable. He has plenty of older episodes that made Mercury Marine cringe. Mercury should have comped the new motor.

There's a spot down the old jail rd. It's called Blue Hole. Short hike into the woods with a fresh water pond. Some crocodiles and other wildlife. Worth checking out.

I have this engine well I’ve had 2 the first one dropped 2 cylinders 30k out limping home on 6 cylinders mercury replaced the power head now it seems fine now going to the Abrolhos islands tomorrow 60ks off shaw for 4 days so hope the engine gets me there and back

You had a Verado 250. Why not upgrade to a Verado 300? Both the 250 and 300 weigh the same 600#. Disregard the USCG max hp rating. The work around: Use an inscriber tool and write the words "RACE BOAT" directly under the serial # on the stern. You no longer have to be USCG approved. Plan B: Have the Verado 300 installed and simply swap the 300 decal to anything you want. Make it a sleeper 200.

My boat is rated for 250 horse power and if I were to upgrade to 300 my insurance wouldn't cover me of something happened. It was also a couple thousand more and not much additional performance from what I was told. I thought about it though.
