A very sad story, indeed; I hope they truly reconciled, and I hope that anything Mike is involved in in the future that he will somehow always include/ mention/ recognize/ acknowledge his friend Frank, and keep his memory alive.

One of the best shows ever both men had great chemistry and just made the show fun to watch and the educational value was enormous I learned something new every episode and very grateful to the History Channel for such an incredibly entertaining show from two regular guys from Iowa.
@briansauer66953 күн бұрын
i saw a video in which someone pointed out that most of the show was staged. I really didn't care about that. It was a pleasant show and even if staged, was very informative! Best show in years as far as I'm concerned. They seemed like true, genuine guys with a heart, as seen in a few episodes where they made a pile more money on something they bought for little money, then turned around and gave back what they felt was a fair amount of money, or as iin the amusement park visit, a donation to restoring the park!

@@briansauer6695 That is a very good Analysis I agree with interpretation 100 percent and like you I was entertained for years with American Pickers and will always be thankful for such a unique and wonderful experience.

Man can I relate. I too had a best friend who was my business partner. We also traveled all around the country together, we were single, making big bucks and enjoying the American dream when he also passed away. We always had arguments and it was mostly because we were around each other all the time and yeah it wears on you. LOL But ya know what ? When you're best friends all the junk stuff in friendships goes away and we always find forgiveness. So yeah man I can relate and I love the show I have seen every single premier since the beginning, I a bit of a picker too. Old Pickers never die they just pick their nose when there is no scrap to collect. LOL

The Wolf brothers had us all fooled they were portraying sheep but at the end of the day they took their costumes off and were truly wolves in sheep costumes I would trust my enemy more than somebody who turns out to be like Mike Wolfe and Robbie Wolfe. I loath these two!
@daveb228022 күн бұрын
Robbie is horrible, painful to watch and very unlikeable. I would have more respect for Mike if Frank's replacement was someone not related to the Wolf's.
@LogarCreed22 күн бұрын
@daveb2280 I found his brother to be not only pushy, but rude, arrogant, and would talk down to the people he was dealing with. And in general thought he knew everything about everything. I hope Mike Wolfe and his brother live with as much guilt as they should on their shoulders. And life humbles them because karma is a Fickle Bi♤ch and will strike when you least expect it. Keep on Truckin everyone. R.I.P Frank you will truly be missed

I just wonder why Frank’s store was never on the show. The two of them would discuss it but never any back story. I guess the production company was not interested or Frank wanted a better deal. I don’t know. On a different note early in the series they would reiterate that they would bid low because they were resellers for profit. By the end of the series after being well known and famous, and taking advantage of that fact, a lot of times they were in it for their own personal collection and still expected to not pay up full blown.

With a friend like Mike, ya don't need an enemy, Mike was never a friend to Frank, he took advantage of Frank. Mike even took advantage of Frank's illness and death. He's a selfish bastard. I stopped watching the show when it became clear Mike was pushing Frank out and bringing in his brother.

It was Mike’s show, he created it and hired Frank. It’s as good as ever by the way as Jersey John and Robbie are both great.

TELEVISION REALITY SHOWS ARE JUST EXACTLY THAT. SHOW BUSINESS. NOT FAMILY NOT FRIENDS NOT MARRIED TO EACH OTHER. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY FROM ADVERTISING AND TELEVISION RATINGS. EVERY THING ELSE IS JUST PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MERCHANDISE PEDDLING. END OF THIS DRAMA BS. I HOPE SOON.

Mike wasn’t the person he pretended to be a good friend. Frank was a good friend. I can remember frank, Mike, talking about how close Frank was to Mikes daughter. Mike let Frank down also his own wife down by cheating on her. I stopped watching after Frank was taken off the show.

Mike, you disappointed me. You said you know, Frank all the way through school. Yeah, when Frank needed you the most, you turn your back on me. Danielle didn't even know nothing about antiques. If I recall when she first came there, she was just trying to get a job you turning your back on somebody who needed you to mow this man didn't steal from you. He had alcohol problem, but you couldn't have helped him. You could at least try to get help and get back on his show, but you turn your back on him.

All this about Mike like people know him !!!! Sort it out! Left his wife had an affair … well women have what’s called menopause people and maybe his wife had this ? Maybe it just ran its course ? I go for the first . So many guys split in 50s and move on as they still want !!! having a go when you all will or have been down this road in one way or another gives no bloody right to have a pop . I doubt very much Mike would be allowed to at his friends last moments if the fallout was as bad as we all thought . Please remember Frank for what he was .. a nice guy who wouldn’t want hate aimed at Mike ! Peace out..

A tv show about a guy who praises the owners of old crap just to get it cheaper. I can't wait until the next episode to watch people quibble over the price of an old frying pan once used by Soupy Sales, Wall to wall excitement.
@GeorgeRainey-s4v22 күн бұрын
the show was great but it was annoying how they were portrayed as soul brothers. really what they were was just colleagues. the show has been copied in some countries so any 2 antique dealers can do this show. so because of that the show could go on for many years.
