I love that Rob came back. But many were the Ripper years transformational. Imagine if he were still there. It doesn't even sound like Priest. But it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Big fan of Rob's solo work, but only one album really sounded like not-Priest.

I love Jugulator since 1997. It's a fantastic album with modern parts from this time. Like the most Priest-Albums! I'm sure the "real" fans hated the Keyboards in the 80ies too. JUDAS PRIES always kept up with the times.
@komischerkauz
@komischerkauz 3 жыл бұрын

I think that JP or KK Priest should make remake of this song in classic heavy metal style. This crap nu metal makes me sick. The album sucked balls and was an insult to any serious Priest fan, but this one song I actually think is one of their best!

Well, I guess it depends, if you're into Korn you might actually like the album quite well. Also, Ripper always kills.

I don't like Korn. Honestly, I can't really listen to them at all.

I think Judas Priest took the easy way out by reuniting with Halford whose voice was fucking blown and since that reunion, they've put out 4 albums and not one even came close to being great. Each were lazy and phoned in. Surprisingly, Priesy treated the reunion album like no big deal. The bare minimum of songs and most were rips of songs on Painkiller. The album didn't even sound like heavy metal. They created a new genre of slow, clumsy Codger-Metal. If they stayed with Owens they had a harder road ahead but would've been a superior band with a guy who could still hit the notes. They needed to lose Scott Travis and Ian Hill though. Travis has sounded weak for 20 years and Hill is just a standard bassist while other bands have phenomenal bassists.

It would have been a great song but those rapped vocals ruined it.
