I've said this to multiple people, but vocalists are the best at 30 - 40ish years old, when they've mastered their expression but they haven't lost their voice yet. Look at Bruce Dickinson in Brave New World (eg. "Thin Line Between Love and Hate") and Rock in Rio 2001, or James Hetfield in the Load/ReLoad era (eg. "Bleeding Me"), Dave Mustaine in Youthanasia, and of course Rob here.

Painkiller is just one of those few absolutely flawless metal gems. Throughout the years I've favored pretty much every track on it at some point. For the past few years this has been my fave on the album. Priest and Sabbath are just the greatest to me.

Immense piece, which in my opinion is one of the greatest on the album that I still listen to with a lot of energy mixed with nostalgia. How can I not remember that legendary concert in '91 on the Painkiller tour, where in the front row I was screaming with joy and amazement! I still keep that note pinned to the wall as a relic and I have admired it all my life. Stunning 80s and fantastic my Judas Priest, forever immersed in my most indelible emotions! 🖤🤘🔥

No one was expecting such a masterpiece in the 90s. Let's face it, many metal bands at that time made superb things, but man, this album is totally different even for JP standards which were classified as a hard rock band. No album had such speed, such anger, such talent.

An extraordinary "hidden gem" with an incredible technical quality, i've not been able to find or listended to another song by Judas Priest with the same complexity and quality, it is just a masterpiece. Never to be find in any "top list" on internet, this song is to me very close to perfection. Every instrument fit together perfectly and Rob's voice is crucial on the overall harmony. Beautiful
