Priest opened up with this at the first Castle Donnington festival in 1980. I was near the left hand PA stack which was about the size of a two-story house and when Rob stuck the microphone in the exhaust of the motorbike and revved it, a couple of thousand people near the front cheeks were wobbling from the sound waves! It remains the loudest thing I've ever heard.

@@DeathMetalinfedel Yep, that's how he broke his nose, knocked himself unconscious and nearly decapitated himself back in the 90's...on a non-running motorcycle.
@DeathMetalinfedel2 жыл бұрын
@@fishcious lol, have you seen the video when he fell? Literally the same as all the others. They pushed him out, except that time he hit the riser and the bike fell over. It sucked he was injured but it doesn't mean the bike was running. He is pushed out from the side. There is a small ramp that gives some extra go and that's it. It has never been actually running. Notice he never goes more than a few yards from where he enters? They are performers. Accept that it's a performance nothing more. If he "almost" died on a non running bike, imagine if he were allowed to actually drive one under power... Too much liability.
