If anyone is wondering why KK Downing is wearing shades throughout most of this concert - he was poked in the eye socket by an incorrectly cut guitar string from one of his guitars that his tech handed him after restringing it. There is much that I like in this song. The chorus repeats four times, and how Rob builds tension and stakes with each repetition is one.

The guys working the sound board on this night, deserved a Grammy solely for the perfect quality of the vocals and music!!!! You know it's live, but it has that perfect studio sound to it!!

Like many great vocalists, you'd never guess that could come out of his mouth given his speaking voice. I know the debates rage as to who is the greatest Metal vocalist of all-time, and Dio, Dickinson, Tate and others are definitely in that conversation. However, Rob Halford is the last word. Hands down, my metal friends. Rob Halford is the greatest metal vocalist of all time.

They are all great, but only mortals. Halford is the G.O.A.T. because he's a god. The metal god.

Yeah, Halford does have quite a low-set speaking voice for a tenor.

C5 easy and A6 on the highest scream. In his prime Rob was the greatest live metal singer w Bruce from Maiden. The sounds he made everytime I've seen priest raised the hairs on my neck and being a singer for over 30 yrs myself. I couldn't imagine the number of years and live shows he gave his all. Untouchable here.
