It’s just a joke how good he is. He’s by far the best in the world and will go down in history as a legend in the sport. Thank God for Judd Trump coming into snooker and bringing the flair the sport needed at a point where it was getting boring

He’s a great exhibition player but has problems in the ultimate pressure situations such as the WC and that’s what he will be judged on. He only has one title in 17 attempts.

⁠@@johnmc3862I’d agree with him lacking mental strength, for one way to define it. I think at times he gets stressed from the pressure and it’s clearly visible and destroys his unorthodox cue action. However, I genuinely believe he is the greatest raw talent, he’s equipped with more shots in his repertoire than any other player and yes, that includes O’Sullivan. Thankfully his overall game in recent years has been better in almost every department than other players which is why he’s winning so much, even if he’s not on form or having easy opposition (at times). He also looked good in the recent Saudi tournament; a different, calculated calmness around the table. So hopefully he’ll start to shine more rather than crumble under the pressure. If he handles that, he’ll be the greatest.

@@silvershadowjsh He's very unlikely to be the greatest IMHO. He's not young and he'd need to win at least 4 or 5 world championships. There was other great(est)raw talents such as A.Higgins & Jimmy White and neither fulfilled their potential. More shots doesn't mean the best player, it's about being able to override and escape from the ultimate pressure situations, which Ronnie & Hendry did. You need ice in the veins! Much of the time Trumps (exhibition)shots happen at the end of frames. If he was the greatest raw talent he would have won more WC's or been in more finals.

I've been watching snooker since the mid 70s, I've watched all the greats, but when it comes to cue power, Judd is way above, even osullivan cannot match the pots and cue power this guy pulls off, even Jimmy white is speechless

Judd Trump is just so casual when he plays like this. All these lads on the pro circuit are brilliant but we love to be entertained as well as seeing great snooker. There’s been a handful of guys like this. Hurricane Higgins, Jimmy White, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump. There may be others but I’m a bit old and forgotten their names. 👍👍👍

Judd is currently the greatest ambassador that the sport has. I'm living abroad at the moment and the likes of Judd, Williams, Murphy, Hendry to an extend with his channel and - of course - O'Sullivan have kept me in touch with my home country's culture, history, humour etc. These kind of videos have saved my sanity at the end of a day's work on many occasions. Nice to sit down, admire their skill and have a laugh at the commentary banter.

Been fortunate to watch him develop from a young kid in the handicap events down at Keynsham to what hes become. I knew back then as a 11 year old he was going to be special, but the power shots and shot making he has worked so hard to develop. He's very single minded on winning, but unfortunately he wont get the CV of a Hendry or O'Sullivan in terms of WCs because the strength in depth is so high. Put him in any other era of the game and he'd win as many WCs and Masters as O'Sullivan or Hendry.

He's in his own category of shotmaking, nobody like him. Strangely the best shots I remember of him were in the Northern Ireland Open, and the German Masters green, both of which beggared belief. He really has played so many memorable shots, its difficult to get them all in one video.

I like judd he's very good but he can win as many ranking titles as he likes but to be called one of the greats he needs to win more triple crowns..he's still along way 19 I think behind Ronnie..he's 2/3 finals already this season let's see how he does as I think coz he won 5 titles last season he was burnt out b4 the world championship.

It would be much better if the director of the cameras, at snooker tournaments, had the insight to leave the view on top down, so we could see the shots as thay are, instead of missing half the shot, because he/she has got the wrong camera online, we dont need the see the players faces every 5 seconds, show the bloody game,..
