I think it's not hard to have normal levels of sympathy to someone who ruined their own life from addiction... addiction is a health issue and hereditary, not to mention that it usually points to a lot of suffering in someone's life to turn to that point... Why is it hard to be sympathetic to someone in pain that only ruined their own lives? It's like imagining being somewhat sympathetic to people who commit suicide... most people understand that they have to be in a great amount of pain and despair to do so and it's the same for those with addictions

She is such a disgusting vile human being. They have released some of her jail phone calls and all she does is worry about herself. Never a mention of her victims, never asks how the living victims are doing, never expresses remorse for killing a young woman on her wedding night.... constantly things like "Why is this happening to me? I am going to be here for years and years, my life is over! I don't want people to look at me negatively, people are gonna be so mean to me!" Literally she killed a woman, she took her life and SHE is crying that HER life is over. I really hope she does not get off easy. She has already been given special treatment in jail by being allowed to have in person visits with family and friends which is not usually granted to other inmates. Her family is trash as well. The mom killed a fireman (Jeffrey Scheuerer) in 2013 as he was fighting a fire, smoke was so thick it covered the fireman and the truck but while other motorists slowed down because of the huge cloud of smoke, the mom did not slow down and hit and killed the fireman. That was ruled a "tragic accident" and no charges were filed. The brother of the fireman was furious and stated that had she actually slowed down like others did when seeing this huge cloud of smoke too thick to see through, his brother would likely not have died. The drunk woman has been going on and on about getting off on bail and doesn't think she will have to serve time, etc and her mindset is probably "well my mom hit and killed a decorated firefighter and nothing happened to her so now that I have hit and killed someone, nothing will happen to me either" And the drunk girls father? He is in a phone recording telling her "You don't have to be sorry. We don't care about what happened. It doesn't matter. We don't care about anything but you." You can 100% be there for, care for and help your kid, while acknowledging she SHOULD be sorry for the rest of her life, she stole a womans life, and she SHOULD care about what happened. She took a womans life and severely injured 3 others. And her parents act like, no biggie baby, you did nothing wrong. It is just so disgusting the more and more that comes out. And her social media pages? Woof. I really hope they throw the book at her and she gets the maximum possible sentence.

I have had friends on both ends, I had a friend who was the greatest guy, had a huge job with ESPN then one night he went to some event had one too many and killed a person, unlike others he had huge remorse and wanted to kill himself he did around 7 years, BUT then I have friends who were the greatest parents to their 3 daughters, lived for them, their youngest went to Hunington Beach for spring break with friends and their college age daughter also went, they did everything right not drinking and driving, well on one night there their youngest daughter that was 17 and 3 of their friends we’re heading somewhere their other daughter stayed back at hotel thankfully (as they would’ve lost two daughters that night) when a very drunk driver Bani Duarte who had already been stopped by random people /drivers at a stoplight and asked if she needed a ride, she denied it and sped off, that group of people called 911 to report her as they were on the phone with 911 they watched in horror her hitting my friend’s daughter and friends car, they were trapped in the car, all of the 17 year olds (4 in total) were banging on the windows to get out, witnesses all tried when suddenly the car blew up, at a last minute 1 boy got out but unfortunately my friends daughter & her 2 fellow friends burned alive and died that night. Later we found out Bani Duarte had a prior dui, she ended up getting 53 years but my friends life and the other parents are forever changed. They keep her room the way it was before she left. Why? You saying she shouldn't be in jail??
@samanthabrown546 Жыл бұрын
Not saying she shouldn’t have consequences but you have to remember this wasn’t intentional it was accidental. I’m sure if she was sober she wouldn’t want to kill anyone. Grace meaning allowing her to have bond.

it wasn’t Jamie’s fault and it was just an accident. also who would ride in a golf cart on PUBLIC ROADS. even if legal, incredibly stupid, as their families can see now.

Outrageous that someone would have bond denied for punitive reasons. She is awaiting trial. She has been adjudicated guilty on ZERO charges. To remain in jail for 13 months awaiting trial it must be proven that she represents a serious flight risk (she doesn’t) or is highly likely to reoffend (unlikely). The fact that the alleged victims demand the satisfaction of seeing her in prison and got it means that the presumption of innocence is DEAD.

Simp for a killer. Doubt you’d be on her side if it was your family. You’re ridiculous

Voting her most likely to reoffend.She's an alcoholic who speeds. There's no alleged about a dead bride.

Sounds like she has an alcohol problem. RIP to the bride but on the bright side the drunk girl saved the new husband from a lot of problems and a costly divorce. 🤷♂️😁

As part of her punishment she needs to wear an outfit of his liking and how her hair is done and provide him a good time and children and marry him and provide all the things his deceased wife would have provided.

@@soldier7332Shockingly, in the millennia that followed ancient Egyptians we learned a thing or two about morality and what constitutes fair punishment. You’re using cultural relativism the same way someone who learned about it 4 seconds before writing their post would.

I’m sure that’s exactly what he wants .. to marry and have kids and look in the eye the person that made a dumb decision that killed the love of his life
