Make these woman pay! As a daughter of a neglecting mother who was ordered to pay child support in the 90s. My mother barely ever paid. My dad was a single father who supported and raised 2 kids on his own. Btw she passed and owed at least 16 yrs of back child support with interest. I will never know at least half my relatives and heritage because of her. Ny state never made her pay because she claimed disability. I'm happy that modern courts treat women equally and make them pay for the children they neglect. 😂
@h.s.6269Күн бұрын
Tbf, if someone is actually disabled it is incredibly difficult to survive on those funds alone, let alone pay child support on top of it. I'm disabled and get less than $1k a month to survive on, that is less than $12,000 annually. $1,000 isn't even enough to cover rent and utilities for the vast majority of the country, let alone other necessities for survival like toiletries, cleaning supplies, medicine, car payments and insurance. Idk if your mom was truly disabled or not, just playing devil's advocate in case she was.
@hks_uzКүн бұрын
Hmm, I wonder if your mother even had a choice to have or not to have children? A lot of American states aren't allowing abortions, so technically speaking, if a woman is raped and she is forced to give birth and also pay child support, even if she has disabilities??? Well, try to get in her shoes: the government either should not interfere with women's bodies, or take care of abandoned children on its paycheck.
@AM-mf4kd2 күн бұрын
Technically she's aloud to do that. They can't do nothing about it. That can't force you to work at a certain job. Child support is based off a percentage of your income. If the judge don't like it . Vote to change the law
