This kind of behaviour by the defendants would have been called out by Juan (her Bailiff from Season 2 and onwards). He would have told the defendant to cover his mouth after he started hacking up with his mouth open for starters. When they tried to "correct" the plaintiff, Juan would then warn these defendants that if they did that again he would personally kick them out of the courtroom and then the next time they interrupted (or the wife), Juan would have lost his patience and kicked the wife out first, and then the defendant upon the next interruption. Juan is nowhere near as patient as Barbara or Judge Faith in that matter with such behavior.

I don't care if you might be older than me or not,but it's important to be respectful to another human being no matter what age,race,gender they are and no matter what kind of job they do. You don't get to talk over a judge,it's like talking over a teacher or lecturer while a student.
