Look at all the women and men, that suffer from spousal, verbal, and physical abuse, while they remain together. The 'promises' become a thing of the past, and you must break them. I do not hate my ex wife, but I do hate her ways. During our 15 years together, there were some things I did not know about her, that turned me off. She was very materialistic, loved money, and tried to control me, but that was not going to happen! We had a son, while we were married, and she turned him against me, and until this day, he has no admiration or love for me. I was not a perfect husband, but I never hit my ex, beat my ex or put down my ex, but today, she has not spoken to me, since we have been divorced, which I find very stupid, but she gets along with my family very well! My beautiful sister, promises are made to be broken, and when it comes to marriage, it's no difference from any other promise you have made with someone or yourself. You move on, brush off your shoulders, and continue to enjoy life. Until you find the right 'piece of the puzzle' to make your life complete, again, then you will become WHOLE!

Divorce is heartbreaking. It is a difficult choice to make. But, none of us remain the same. The Mathis Family is still Family. This couple honored their union together and have just reached a crossroad where they are making a different choice for themselves. It is better than remaining together and watch a great love sour into bitterness and resentment which often leads to someone checking out emotionally, and begin cheating. They are mature enough to continue to work together as Matriarch and Patriarch over the family they built together.

I remember leaving my ex the next day after he cheated. I don't believe in second chances because whoever cheated going to let that bs cool down, and it will start all over again, so after my ex wanted to work it out and he kept telling me please forgive him, take me back, bought me another huge rock to wear on my finger, paid my car insurance for three yrs, car note for 2 yrs and I still left the same day and he kept paying all these things because he thought I was coming back. I told him whoever you cheated with go be with her because I'm done. We were married for 28yrs and now I'm happppppppppppily married to such a wonderful dude that don't run the streets, clubbing all night, hanging out with his so call "boys" at home 24/7 and he served his time in the military 💯 percent VA and I'm calling him "Daddy"

It brings a tear 😪 into my eyes to see a couple with LONGEVITY of marriage to divorce 😪. Yes statement correct “nobody knows what goes on behind closed 🚪”..😒; We don’t want to know 🤷🏾‍♀️ ALL real OG’s who know JUDGE GREG MATHIS story with his beautiful wife standing along side knew that was ❤.
